Kellerman is a huge SJW cuck who always pushes a leftist narrative. His opinion on this is garbage.

WUT... old men stalking 18 year olds on twitter is not better than drafting. If you think national signing day is better than the draft you are odd

College football is superior b/c the game you want to watch is always on TV. It doesn't rely on an outdated, network driven, restricted regional broadcast schedule.

This is a fair point.

I am fed up with trying to stay invested in the NFL when they keep showing me the same teams every week.

Are you not fed up with the same 3 teams in the CFB playoffs the last 3 years? At least the NFL has different teams in the Superbowl every year...

Just having two games on in each Sunday afternoon timeslot every week would be a major improvement.

The TV people suck. Would be nice if ESPN could just stream all of the games, but unfortunately we have to resort to Redzone or illegal streams. Surprised they are so behind the times with streaming games in the NFL.

I think all of the TV contracts come up for renewal around 2020. Hopefully we can get a good streaming service then.

Well that's good news. Let's hope they don't screw it up. There is no reason by 2020 that they should not have a streaming service for the NFL. Literally every other major sport has it at this point.

NFL already has the platform, just need to open it up to residents of the US.

National signing day is a holiday for me. I don't stalk anyone on twitter, let alone an 18 year old kid. Recruiting starts when some of these kids are 13 and that is the bad side of it, but seeing a kid rise from an unknown to a 5* is truly special. Love it.

Another bad side of it is when fans bash a local player for going somewhere other than their school. See it all the time with nutjob LSU fans.

The 40-something year old dudes bashing the 17 year old LA kid for not choosing LSU makes me cringe every single time.

This is very true, unfortunately.

I've always liked cfb more but I will always enjoy NFL. People hate Goodell and all the non-football related shenanigans.
I don't like how produced and consistent NFL games are.

Sure, it's become the goddamn kardashians, which royally sucks. But the game is the polar opposite. Every game feels the same.

It's the worst of both worlds.

NFL ratings are down because the audience is sick of it. Combined with the fact they're doing nothing to change any of it also hurts them.

2.) Saturdays are better than Sunday.
- The great thing about college football is the Friday night before the game. The town's population begins to swell in the afternoon, people are out and about fraternizing, bars are filled to brim, people are setting up their tailgates on campus, a small bit of grill smoke lingers in the air, and everyone is having a good time. Then Saturday comes and it is an all day party for some. You don't get that with the NFL on Sunday. Hell, I'm ready to leave work now!

This board amuses me

4) Greed doesn’t run rampant in college like it does in the NFL. I never have to worry about my favorite college team moving. NFL stadiums are now “too old and obsolete” after 2 decades. How many college teams build new stadiums? Most just renovate the current one, and taxpayers don’t get arse raped paying the bill. Lying scumbag owner says when he buys team he has no interest leaving. Then 5 years later backstabs the fans when the stadium has nothing to do with the garbage product on the field. Thank you Kroenke and Goodell. Now I never need to buy the Sunday Ticket anymore. But please continue to air more “football is family” bullshite ads!

You think Monty from Tuscaloosa is qualified to talk about Sundays in an NFL city?

He's talking about what he knows and what he grew up with. I'm sure NFL fans in an NFL city have a different take on it.
