Matt Barnes: I never picked up my ring with the Warriors because I didn't contribute

"I didn’t sweat ... I didn’t get to guard LeBron (James)," he said. With Durant fully recovered, Barnes played just 61 minutes in 12 playoff games.
And for that reason, he concluded: "I don't count that as a championship."

Lame. Ring probably costs 50k. Has to be worth a trip to the office. He could even auction it for charity, if he doesn't want it. Shows how detached from reality some athletes are. He probably thinks people will admire him for this..

That's so weird. One person on this board thinks what Barnes did is the model way to do it, wait until your career is over then ring chase when your skills have diminished.
