I don’t think anyone hates Freeman, I wanted him as our DC bad. However we’ve been told for 9 months now that aksually the ND recruiting success was him and they were winning in spite of Kelly blah blah so him stepping on a rake a week after Kelly was torched for losing is a tad funny

I mean both things can be true. LSU came out flat against FSU then lost in funny fashion. ND has looked underwhelming despite bottling OSU up for a half.

That LSU lost in “funny”/gut punch fashion wasn’t the comment being made. There were people literally saying ND was better off with Freeman and not Kelly. That ND didn’t win anything because of Kelly and now that he was gone they were better off
