Want to know how many plays atlanta's offense had in the 2nd half?

6 drives, 27 total plays, for a total TOP 13:03
It's amazing how he just throws shite out there

Atalanta averaged just over 4 plays per drive in the second half. That is downright horrendous

I would have appreciated points per play. Now I am going to have to do that

Here is average points per drive against for the respective defenses:

According to football outsiders, the saints gave up the most points per drive this season

Use pro football focus to do the offensive yards per drive. I did my share already.

I used pro football focus. The Browns were last on there.

Ok so not rings, but you think Brady is better despite not actually being better than, say, Rodgers.

Being a better athlete does not equate to being a better QB.

I really don't care about the yards. Scoring is the name of the game

In a one game situation, going by scoring can be misleading, but in a 16 game season, scoring is all that matters as a stat IMHO

yeah, its no secret the pass defense for the Saints sucked arse.

big part of that was the injury issues at CB though. You aren't really working with a high caliber group to begin with and then everybody gets hurt on top of that?? NO CHANCE.

so when I look at the Saints run defense from last year and see a big improvement statistically, I know those numbers are skewed some.

teams didn't have to run against the Saints because of the poor play of the reshuffled CB's. Plus who ever was out there at LB wasnt helping underneath that much either.

not just injuries at CB, Kikaha being out all year really didn't give us much of a pass rushing presence.

Some more fun facts:

The falcons had 2 drives all game that consisted of more than 5 plays.

The 4.6 plays per drive the Falcons had is worse than the 32nd ranked team in plays per drive.

Just wondering why you're giving Brady credit for long drives while ignoring that their defense put them back on the field

And some more fun facts:. The falcons averaged TOP/drive in the 2nd half was 2:34. The browns averaged 2:31 for the year.

Agree.

Cam Jordan played his arse off but didn't really have any help consistently.

Fairley did okay but after that.. a bunch of no shows.

Rankins got a few sacks but almost half of his rookie year was a wash b/c of injury.

Offensive points per drive is what I meant anyway. I've been staring at too many numbers to type straight apparently.

I think all are important to look at in totality, but this is probably my favorite stat, I think I already mentioned, I wish it were more mainstream.

But again if you take this stat, total defense, scoring defense, and whatever you want, put em all together, the end result is going to be the same, Brady's defenses have set themselves apart from the other 3.

I said nothing about athlete, Rodgers plays the position of QB better than Brady, there is very little you can do to actually debate that. Rodgers is better by any individual measure you want to use.

As RollTide said, the Patriots defense didn't really do anything good in the SB!!!
