New England had all three timeouts, and started with the ball on the 40 and Brady advance them 37 yards.
Buffalo Started on their own 10, and Kelly drove them 61 yards
If anything was proven in this thread, it's that Pride is going to look up stuff, all of the stuff.

Tell me the difference between what Brady did late in the Super Bowl vs Seattle and say what Brees did in the Divisional round vs The 49ers in 2011?
The difference is one was the divisional round and the other was the Super Bowl. San Francisco didn't even make it to the Super Bowl that year.

One is not like the others.

actually i think that's the end of Super Bowl XXXVIII vs Carolina. John Kasay kicked it out of bounds (as a side note, one of the more annoying Bardy/Patriot narratives is that if not for 2 miracle catches by the Giants he'd have 7, which ignores stuff like this and of course the tuck rule)
Anyhoo SB XXVI vs the Rams, they got the ball at the 17 with 1:30 to go. They drove 50 yards or so. But obviously the time and yardage were beside the point, but i know you and shel understand that.
I'd like to give him the benefit if the doubt that he's just digging in his heels to defend his boy, but his comment about the Saint's-49ers game along with many other comments shows he really doesn't get it and is too wrapped up the standard cliches to get it. shel said it well above, thinking Brady is the "GOAT" is fine and perfectly reasonable without the lazy and stupid "rings" element.

Yeah...you might want to go on YouTube and watch that final drive again. The Patriots had no time outs, 1:21 on the clock (I originally said 1:08) and ball on their own 16 yard line.

So point still stands, what is the difference between Brady vs Carolina and Kelly vs New York?
Kelly drove 61 yards, and Brady 37....

still completely missed the point

Holy shite! Are you people retarded? Where have I ever said it's all about rings?! He's Top 5 in just about every major QB statistic out there! When you have QBs who are so close together when it comes to stats, championships become a valid tie breaker.
It's one thing if he's got one Super Bowl ring...it's quite another when he's got five. That's how great players are judged whether you like it or not. You play the game to win championships, not to impress the stat sheet. Brady does both. I don't give a shite if you think that's a cliched argument. It's a valid one because it's used by just about every player, coach, and analyst of the game.
Just because you think it's cliched doesn't make it any less true.

Another factor is Brees has played his entire career either in San Diego or in a dome (and both smaller markets) compared to Brady (and Rodgers for that matter) playing their entire careers up north and outside.

quote:In your opinion. It sounds like you just want to mindlessly do what the masses do. "that's just how it is, like it or not." Well guess what, it doesn't have to be, not everyone HAS to think like that, you're allowed to think for yourself.

Do you know why that is? Because each of those teams invested way more in offense. Belichick knew he could win with scrubs out there on offense and invest in defense because Brady is gonna get his because he is the fricking GOAT

GOAT gets his final revenge on Roger Goodell The question no longer remains is he the greatest QB of all-time There can be only one Lord of the Rings I realize Peyton Manning is from Louisiana So I know why a lot of you guys have a vested interest in downplaying Brady's accomplishments If tGOAT's team wins tomorrow night.... Will there be any doubt about his legacy? How is Brady not the best QB to ever play the game?
Now it all makes sense
