Did you see the spreadsheet on TOP? This is false, fwiw.

Yes. I was assuming that was where the offensive TOP ranked. Is that wrong?

Ok, so everyone remembers Dilfer and no one remembers Marino.

Did Dilfer throw for 466 yards in Super Bowl XXXV? Yeah....I didn't think so. And Marino is best remembered for having never won a Super Bowl, despite being one of the most prolific passers the game has ever seen.

Brees has proven he can throw the ball and can win the big game. So no.

Age is fine, but when you're looking at career averages, the guy who is currently active and has 7+ seasons to go has more room to decrease those averages.

Should we compare Rodgers 1st 9 seasons to Brady's 1st 9 seasons?

Correct. And Brady hs a worse TOP ranking than Brees and Rodgers

And his defense still gives up less points

So rings matter when it's convenient for you.

Got it.

And yet 1 has a SB ring and the other never sniffed a SB ring. Remember that line?

Is Eli better than Marino? Flacco better than Marino? Both proved they can win big games and throw the ball, Marino never did. So...

This is exactly what they are arguing for

I don't think they will like what they see

I'm just going between Brady and Manning at this point. Too much to digest while trying to catch up.

Thats fine. I am still not sure why you brought up yards per play.....

I would have appreciated points per play. Now I am going to have to do that

Aren't you an accountant or some shite? If not, i have no clue why I thought that.

If so, somebody or some company's money got totally fricked today.

Rings AND stats matter. Brees has both. Brady has them, too. His five rings to Brees' one puts him over the top.

I have always held this argument. Look back at my post history. I have never claimed it's just about the rings.

Marino sniffed the Super Bowl. He lost to Joe Montana in Super Bowl XIX.

Is Eli better than Marino? Flacco better than Marino?

Only if you assume I value ONLY rings (which I don't). Marino is arguably the greatest passer the game has ever seen. Eli is a solid QB who goes through rough patches from time to time. Flacco was fortunate to be on a good defensive team, much like Dilfer before him. Neither one is better than Marino.

No, compare Brady, Manning, and Brees's age 25 through age 33 season. I'm sure Rodgers still wins, but its the most fair comparison is my point.

IF he's a better passer than Brady, is he not a better QB than Brady?

Can't believe I even had to ask that question, but here I am.

Fair point, but I won't do that because:

Beside, Pride will do , give him 5 minutes.

All I'm gonna say is this. When Brady got the ball inside the 10 I had no doubt he was gonna find a way to score. I wouldn't say the same with any other quarterback in the league.

Then why is Brady your GOAT, despite not playing the QB position as well as other QBs, according to the data and one of your own posts?

I'd say that about Rodgers, because he's better by every individual measure than Brady. Why wouldn't you say that about Rodgers?
