In 2017 roughly 20,000,000 black males lived in the US. 223 were killed by police officers. EVEN if we consider that a greater proportion of black males are killed by police than any other demographic in the US, that STILL means last year roughly 0.00001% of the black male population in the US was killed via police shooting.
I know facts tend to really mess up a good "victim" narrative, but this is where we are in 2018. Black men, who in a "racist country" earn more money than over 99% of the ENTIRE US population are protesting an act that is responsible for the deaths of a fraction of a fraction of black men in this country.
Here's the reason. When your entire identity is wrapped up in being a victim, you have to create ways to continue to portray yourself as a "victim". Even if raw statistics and facts overwhelmingly conclude police killings of black males is an EXTREMELY RARE occurrence. Otherwise, your entire identity disappears.

Some things I can get behind if sincere: 1. Make all recreational drugs legal. You aren't going to solve the drug epidemic by current means, ever. Our jails are overcrowded as is and an epidemic on the judicial system is going to explode soon.
2. Do number 1 and you won't see as many black men being shot by police aa there will be no legal means for arrest.
3. Well, it all goes back to drugs. Every damn bit of it. Make the shite legal already.

So let me get this straight. Jenkins wants to complain that 25% if those shot and killed by police this year are black since they are only 8% of the population, yet ignored the fact they have committed nearly 50% or more of violent crimes in that same time despite being only 8% of the population.
