Where are you coming from and what route do you take? I always get stuck it he worst traffic when I go out for baseball or football games.

Lower Greenville and taking 75 to 30W. Traffic only really gets bad near six flags and 360.

Two years ago I lived in Stephenville and drove from there and 30E the whole way.

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but ticket prices are outrageous for some teams too.

Nose bleeds for a family of four at Wrigley will run you around $500 for a weekend game once you consider parking and food. That's ridiculous.

How about baseball teams stop raising prices for attending these games?

Make the prices affordable for middle-class families in the 21st century-paycheck-to-paycheck-work-work-work nonstop America.

20-30 minutes before game time meaning 6ish? 37 right now for me and I’m 5 minutes away from you.

This isn’t new. It’s been going on for decades.

It's been getting worse over the past 20 years. Years, years back, you could save up on a bonus from work or such. Nowadays, it is unlikely.

We probably go to a couple of games a year at Target Field in Minnesota. Fantastic time, fantastic place. Can usually get into the stadium for pretty cheap but the concessions are high. We're coming in from out of town and will stay downtown so parking, etc. is not an issue. These are more mini vacations. Have done the same thing at Wrigley, again, mini vacation type setups. To go everyday, or to a bunch of games a year would cost way too much.

If I lived in MSP I would probably go to several games a year. That would be doable, or more likely I would put the game on in the garage and drink beer with friends and save a bunch of money.

Teams like the Twins are the state's teams and are destination type events, mini vacations. But day-to-day, just too much money and time for middle class families.

should be a hard cap like the NFL does To level the playing field from the haves and have nots. Bigger market teams Have a significant adv over smaller market teams. What makes the NFL great is that every team (small or larger market) have the same chance at becoming relevant with a good FO

Last 15 Super Bowls featured 15 different teams for 30 slots.

Last 15 World Series featured 16 different teams for 30 slots.

So much more parity in the NFL though.

Would you rather be a small market club in MLB or the NFL?

3 the DH should be in both leagues. It’s unbelievably stupid that this still is a thing
4 pace of the game is slow as well, should be a pitch count

SO much wrong with this

It's 2018.

Unless you're living on the government dole or are a trust fund baby or Ferris Bueller...most people don't have time to spend 4 hours at a baseball park during the work week and get home late for work tomorrow.

You sound soft. People have gotten back late from games with work tomorrow since the beginning of time. What's changed?
