As an Iowa Hawkeye fan... I am excited to see how we play against #1 LSU. Not expecting much but would like to see us be competitive. We started the season in Florida this past weekend and finished 3-0. We have a good pitching prospect in Brody Brecht possibly going up against the tigers on Saturday. He tops out at 100 mph and plays wr for our football team.

Tech has a dangerous team again this year. Hosting a regional is a lofty, but in-reach goal. CUSA has a decent baseball conf this year.

Only ULM sporting events I’ve been to were those two baseball games hours before Covid shutdowns where ULM somehow got Ole Miss to play a two game set in Monroe.
I would have loved to see LSU play up here. They did when Smoke was coaching as Smoke throwing a bone to his old team.

SLU should be 9-0 or 8-1 going into big weekend series at Auburn. Samford isn't great but is a hell of a lot better than Lafayette and JSU.

That Lafayette SS has nightmares from playing SLU. Game 1 on Saturday their team had 9 errors

They should not look past samford. Think we went 1-2 vs them last year. But yeah pitching has shown its depth. Bats have to wake up going into auburn and they are leaving way too many on base. However this offense is the same ole from the lions.
