BC Partners has been running this playbook in other industries. Harvest operating losses in the holding company to roll up other assets.

Doesn’t sound like anyone really wants to play golf next year.
They may let Rahm back on tour if he comes groveling hard enough.
I can’t see a way they let Dechambeau back in the next five years or so.

LIV filing bankruptcy has to do with resolving their financial situation from before with PIF
Doesn’t have much impact with their LIV 2.0 with new investor other than potentially losing players from previous contracts

I'm sure players are excited to play for Liv 2.0 when they're about to get paid pennies for Liv 1.0
