Sawyer Watkins - Son of Jody Watkins (USL football)

Good friends with Jody. That dude is a hunting and fishing machine. Most importantly, he’s a great father who actively involves his children and other kids in the outdoors. Regarding Sawyer, the kid is extremely cerebral and is wise beyond his years compared to others his age.

Sawyer is the modern day Duck Commander in the making at this point. Jody is a good dude. He took me bow fishing for the very first time.

Sawyer definitely has the genetic makeup for an athlete. In addition to Jody, his uncle via his mom’s side of the family, happens to hold the NCAA division record for the longest football playing career.

Louisiana's SW regional matches up with the Midwest regional in the LLWS so it could be a while.

They looked damn good last night. Game called at 15-0 after 3 1/2 innings.

I love the state of Hawaii and always pull for their sports teams but even I was telling the Utah coach through the TV to walk Keanu on 2 occasions. There's no point in letting him get 5 rbi and score 2 runs in 2 at bats. They walk players at every level put your pride aside for your team.

Hawaii looked very good. It wasn't like when the Crushers of Tennessee would hit a ground ball up the middle against Alabama and the pitcher, 2nd baseman and centerfielder would all miss the ball and it would slowly roll all the way to the fence clearing the bases on every hit ball.

Utah actually played pretty good besides not being able to hit Keanu and Hawaii's bats showing up with a bang.

North California up 10-0 over Arizona in the 3rd.

Arizona pitchers walked 5 and 3 errors didn’t help, either

It will be interesting when NorCal plays Hawaii.

Arizona beat SoCal 1-0 in a pitchers duel yesterday.

I know transitive properties don't work in sports. But NorCal put it on AZ and there was never a doubt about the outcome once the game started.

If I was a betting man I would put my money on NorCal and Hawaii to come out of that regional. The only question would be who wins it and gets the higher seed at the LLWS.

Tennessee has a good chance to make it to the LLWS.

In the first Georgia game Tennessee dominated the entire game except for the very last half inning. If the Crushers have the lead tomorrow I don't think it will end like the first game. Tennessee has played really good the entire tournament besides that one half inning.

tennessee is probably gonna win, but they had to play an extra game which could come up huge with pitching match-ups.

definitely came up huge for florida last night getting a free pass to the semis and not having to use arms in a second game

Sw and Se kind of got screwed.

West and NW regionals are same place, same with Mid-atlantic/NE & GL/MW.

its about the expierence and them getting to hang with the other teams is a damn cool expierence.

I would absolutely hate that if I was a player. Getting struck out by a girl in the LLWS regional or LLWS is something you may never be able to live down.
