This post is for everyone sick of the Dan Campbell Detroit Lions knobslobbery.
Aw, poor you. Your team has never been to the Super Bowl? Cry me a fricking river. Your city was built and then subsequently destroyed by the industrial revolution? Go tell your wife your troubles. You wasted the careers of two of the best players of all time because of your incompetence? What's my name? frick YOU, THAT'S!! MY NAME
frick you, Detroit. Niners por vida! After this game, the Lions will be shining the Niners' shoes.
For posterity.

Yet 50 of the 116 Super Bowl berths belong to just 6 franchises.
Who are the 6 besides SF, New England and Pittsburgh?
Dallas?
Green Bay?

Kittle is great. Nice use of “they had us in the first half not gonna lie”

NE has 11
SF, Dal, Den, and Pit all have 8
KC now has 6
Another 5 franchises make up 25 appearances, meaning 75 of 116 appearances belong to 1/3rd of the league.

That's what I was wondering. I just looked him up and it says he is under the weather.

Nope, Campbell didn't drop all those key passes, interceptions and fumble the ball.
Players were all in position to make routine nfl plays and they didn't. That's not on coaching.
Keep believing otherwise though

Lions fans going to think about that 4th down instead of taking a field goal. The field goal in that situation was perfect you would have answered the 49ers score and made it a 17 point game. When your a franchise with the history of the Lions you can't make a mistake like that because everyone is waiting for something bad to happen and missing that 4th down lit that spark.

Gronk is not good at this analyst stuff

I said that when he went for the 1st 4th down it was a mistake for the reasons you outlined. If he kicked and got it, the SF momentum is slowed/stopped and the score goes back to 17.

Or if Reynolds catches the routine level catch they get another 7 and crush the niners spirit.

Lions fumbled at their own 22 on one of the drives. Take that away and they allowed 10 points in the second half. Story of the game was the four dropped passes, not kicking the FGs and running the ball on 3rd down at the goal line down 10 with under 2 mins left.
Ooof. What a freaking disaster.

What a bummer of a result

I was in the Dome when the no-call happened. Walked all the way from Poydras to Magazine & 3rd in a daze after.
I know Detroit’s pain right now.
At least we could all blame the refs instead of our own coach, though.
