I'm just LiAngelo and everywhere I go
People know the shite I'm stealing
Won't ever make the big dance, no Lavar bromance
Ooh, and they're sayin'
There will come a day when youth will pass away
What will they say about me?
When the end comes, I know
I was just LiAngelo
Life goes on without me

And it is going to be up to Lonzo to bankroll this little experiment....

If this means Lavar is going to Lithuania with them, then im all for this.

I hope he does this over there.
ETA: I need to know why someone would take half court shots for literally no reason. He does it all the time. How has a teammate not dropped his arse yet?

If you aren't playing for one of the very top teams in Europe, you may not get paid on time or ever.
The best league for consistency of paycheck is China. They pay on time.
I don't think playing in China is going to be an option for these two.

They are likely playing for free to get exposure in the hopes of getting on with a real Euro League team, or in the hopes of dominating a super low level of competition until they can play in the GLeague.
Hey, but at least they won't be slaves to the NCAA cabal.

The second Lamelo pulls any of that shite over there, not only will he get hipchecked into the empty bleachers by a 45 year old 6'5" Lithuanian Center (and no whistle), but his coach will bench him for the rest of the season.

European coaches couldn't give a frick about a player's dream of playing in the NBA. They are there to win Euro League championships, not prepare teenagers to play elsewhere.
On the other hand, he'll probably get better coaching in Lithuania than he ever would in AAU or high school.

Prienu Vytautuas, or BC Prineai as it's often called, is a low-level club from a small, non-English speaking village of roughly 10,000 people in southern Lithuania. The team has been grappling with financial issues, and started the season losing 8 of its first 12 games in the Lithuanian league.
The team is 4-1 in the Baltic League after its lone loss came on a forfeiture. The coach (Virginijus Seskus) received two technical fouls and was ejected late in the game. The team refused to return onto the court for overtime after the game ended 65-65 in regulation.
Vytautuas has sparingly signed American players in the past decade, only ex-Vanderbilt guard Brad Tinsley. He left the team after a month.
The club plays in a 1700 seat arena. 500 of those seats are reserved for team sponsors and their friends. Tickets cost around 5 euro.
The team has no general manager and doesn't practice regularly due to the poor financial situation.

From what I'm told, salaries for players at this level of competition usually don't exceed $500 per month in the absolute best case.
Yeah but in Eastern Europe...that exchange rate!
A Nickel as a tip!

I don't think Lavar fully understands the dynamics of young Americans playing in Europe.
European coaches couldn't give a frick about a player's dream of playing in the NBA. They are there to win Euro League championships, not prepare teenagers to play elsewhere.
They simply won't play them in favor of guys that are Euro League lifers that can win them a title. They do this to young Euros that look like they can go to the NBA as well. Bench their arse.
Many a young player has gone over there only to find they aren't going to play.
I agree but most of the Americans kids go to major foreign leagues and this ain't one of them. In a lower league they might get them just for the attraction. The players will still hate them though.
No way LaMelo stays in this league until his class is eligible.
