I must say I've just accepted this reality and all I'm willing to do is wish them well in this endeavor and pray that God grants them the maturity and wisdom to utilize this for their professional life and become successful individuals in society

I fully agree. This is an even worse outcome than I predicted a few weeks ago. I bet they will be onto a new team by February 2018.

I doubt Lonzo would have gotten more than 15-20 million guaranteed in his first shoe deal. There would be a ton of incentives that would boost it to 30 million or more, but even Kyrie Irving didn't hit the incentives in his first contract.
