Chalmette vs. Holy Cross at Gormley

Game for last place in the Catholic League.

Nah. Curtis has it locked down for at least another week or two. Hahaha.

I find it funny how a few teams in the Catholic League had/have Chalmette and Holy Cross in back to back weeks

don’t think STM is too excited about facing the Barbe offense. Maybe they got some tips from Neville.

Meh...we will melt clock and hope to keep the defense off the field, as much as possible

Have 2 D1 Spurs so Barbe can't run outside. Mystery solved.

Definitely. I was expecting Barbe to beat Acadiana last week but not absolutely obliterating them. It was a pleasant surprise.

Anyone know this story? This school is in Luling

quote:

RK Smith’s middle school football coaches should be ashamed. One controversial call on a block caused the entire coaching staff to forget that they were at a middle school football game. And these are the coaches that teach at the school! Police should never have to come on the field and separate an aggressive coach at this level. One of these “coaches” decided to run halve way across the field after they scored to yell at the other team and jump up and down like an animal. The behavior of these coaches is unacceptable, especially at the middle school level. These men are leadership to the youth athletes on the field. If my son played at RK Smith I would be concerned.
