WM punts to the 1. Couple holding penalties. Ruston ends up at the 33 after repunt. Big pass 1st play. Ruston stopped and runs fake FG which is unsuccessful. WM ball at their own 24.

I really wish Ruston’s QB was 5 inches taller. LSU would have a helluva passer. Kid throws a beautiful ball. He’s just too short to go anywhere big.

Good game Rebs. Ruston played a better 2nd half. Good luck the rest of the season

Curtis appears to be quite strong this year.

We got dominated tonight. That was the worse I have ever seen STA play. I didn’t expect much but I didn’t think the game would be over by the 1st qtr

for the first time EVER in the 47 year series history, Comeaux wins @ Acadiana on a walk off FG 31-30. The Spartans scored 17 Fourth Qtr points

The offense is just not good this year. O-line was getting abused and couldn’t protect the QB and they couldn’t get any good blocking to allow a rushing game. Defense was man handled, especially up front, and lots of missed tackles. That was definitely one of the poorest efforts I’ve seen from St. Amant in a few years

ST. Amant needs a lot of work and it starts with the coach. He did nothing to help those boys. He didn’t even talk to them. He stood by at halftime with his foot on an ice chest and drinking a coke. He’s a disgrace. The playbook consists of three plays. Looks like tecmo bowl’s playbooks. Sad to see how far the program has fallen.

y'all lost to one of the best programs in the state... you'll probably say "but Helen Cox", but they don't suck anymore

It was like they had never seen a 34 defense before. CHS dominated both lines of scrimmage and when STA had a chance to make a tackle, they missed it. I don’t want to take anything away from CHS but that was a piss poor effort by the Gators tonight.

Or you know, just throwing a thought out there, you just lost to a superior team that had better players across the board?

St Amant is just in a down year talent wise. Oliver is a really good offensive coach. Next year or so they’ll have another of those 35-40 Senior laden teams and make it to the second round of the playoffs. Dutchtown poaching kids is not what it used to be, so they’ll be okay.
But don’t act like St Amant was ever elite.

Catholic is a great team this year. Nobody can deny that. The game was over when the gators fumbled on the second play and nobody on that sideline did anything to get their heads back in it. Coaching is the problem.
