Wow! Wish I could have made it out there tonight. Was really looking forward to both games. My son isn't feeling well so I didn't want to risk it. If Independence stadium wasn't completely on the other side of town, I'd go ahead and head on over. I hope ktbs was able to get some footage of the WM strip and OT for the football fever post game show.

Un-believable. McGill-Toolen's coach is gonna get raked over the coals for that for a long time.
WOW. West Monroe must have had a rabbit foot in their behinds tonight.

Ehret - 26
Hahnville - 0
FINAL
Game wasn't anywhere as close as the score shows.

Lol at the refs in the Catholic game

Damn.... Ehret that good or is Hahnville on an off year?

That’s an awful score line for John Curtis. Bishop Lynch is good private school team in Texas, but wouldn’t be a top 150 Texas team or top 50 Louisiana team.

23-20 for catholic and Zachary. Zachary kicks FG to make it 23-23. Catholic fumbles kickoff and Zachary driving w two minutes left.
Eta: 30-23 ZHS. In before more excuses re refs.

That “fumble” was a gift. Kid was clearly down. HS officiating at its finest.

Dude did you see it? The Catholic player was down with knees shoulder pads and a helmet

Is ZHS on that bama level where we get calls now? How has our QB looked?

Their defense was good last week. Their special teams were honestly the worst I’ve ever seen. Completely lost the game for them against West Monroe. Final was 44-20, but it wasn’t that close.

I figured with this game in BR that catholic would be the beneficiary of any homecooking. I really wanted to go tonight but had other obligations.
