High School football should be on Friday nights, but I understand why the inner city schools and privates play on Saturday. Still sucks to have Saturday games for those who love college football too and have kids in those schools.

Oh yeah. My sons, now both graduates, hate football on any night but Friday, and at Tad Gormley if they can help it.

Although Yenni and Memtsas are great venues for band music, too.

Saturday day games are fine and should be the preferred choice when teams have to cross the state come playoff time. If I were Eddie Bonine, if a 7 p.m. Friday start would cause even ONE missed period of class for travel, the game must be on a Saturday. Getting home at 3 a.m. like I did from West Monroe once ain't too cool either

now the old Thursday and Friday day games at Pan Am and Gormley, those were the ones that felt off

Fontainebleau is trash, but keep an eye out for their RB.... Iverson Celestine is already a 4 star recruit as a sophomore and probably twice the size of me

I’ve had to play against Newman and Redeemer-Seton on a Thursday, which is worse than a Saturday IMO
