Now we just need a Chalmette loss for a real ref bitch fest to begin.

I’m too numb to bitch after blowing leads the last two weeks to miss the playoffs… I mean our stands certainly thought Salmen held a lot, but you can’t call it every play lol

I don’t know if their onside kick was touched by them before 10 yards…

Other than that their QB torched us with runs and short passes… our defense was good against bad teams but was figured out by the good teams on our schedule. I think we just didn’t have enough at RB and WR…

Does West Monroe play defense? Damn that’s alot of points Ruston scored.

Gave up 2 return TDs on special teams too. Then they started squibbing & Ruston had the ball near midfield to start every drive. May as well onside kick at that point. WM special teams were a huge part of both losses to Neville & Ruston the past 2 weeks.

Every time Ruston wanted to they were able to throw a go route for a TD. WM just leaving their corners out on islands against bigger, faster WRs and got burned every time Ruston wanted it. They did the same thing against Catholic with their big white WR but Catholic coaches were too dumb to keep giving him the ball. Neville was able to do the same thing several times last week but their guys kept dropping the ball.

WM has to start giving those corners some help out there. They obviously aren’t able to handle WRs 1 on 1. Interestingly enough, it was #1 that killed WM in the passing game. Hudson didn’t do much aside from catching a TD on a fade at the goal line. They really didn’t need him though. WM couldn’t stop #1 or #5 until he got hurt

I think this was the case for both teams Ruston’s secondary didn’t look any better and that WM QB threw some darts under pressure

It was kicked by them 7 yards in… that’s why the ball turned like it did

But we had no answers for their QB scrambles

Considering we lost out last 2 games in OT and with 18 sec left… it’s fitting we miss playoffs by one spot.

Ultimately we never could put good teams away.

Chalmette lost to lakeshore, holy cross, Slidell, and Salmen

None of them are great teams. But, all of them were bigger and stronger sgd faster than us.

Looks like we are the only team in the entire state with 6 wins that won’t make the playoffs.

Maybe Holy Cross because they had more depth… the others, nah.

That’s the second time Coach Tucker will miss the playoffs at 6-4… it happened in 2011 when we beat Holy Cross, went 6-0 against non-district teams, but lost 4 against Rummel, Jesuit, BM, and West Jeff to miss by one spot because a team below us got in by winning district

Then that Central BR team pulled a 32 over 1 upset in the first round

Neville dominated ASH. It was never a game from the kickoff. Neville has to be the favorite to win it all if they stay healthy.

D1 NS is brutal. Last year you had baseball teams with 20-10 records not make the playoffs where D2 had teams with losing records get in.

I have my U stand over ball, once he moves - I let it roll.

Had they rolled the game clock yet?

I wish they would add a whistle to that.

Yeah it was pretty funny telling McDonogh 35 “good luck in the playoffs” after we 15 run ruled them in the last game
