I just can’t imagine introducing kids that steal guns into a nice private Catholic school. I don’t care how good they are at football. People are sending their kids there for a reason.

It’s called win at all costs, I guess. It’s a shame you send your kid to a private school to avoid that and they have a chance to compete for a state championship and now that’s done.

It must’ve been quite a churn there. Neville and Ouachita QB1s left. Another obviously good one comes in.

There was a thread a few months back about St. Fred’s new coach, and the depleted roster he was inheriting because of transfers to other schools.
Was the new coach desperate to replace them, took a chance, and the administration foolishly signed off on them? What scenarios could new students be eligible this season?
Or were these existing students he inherited?

I read that they were already at the school
The news was here first that I saw: https://louisianasportsline.proboards.com/thread/17159/st-fredrick-athletes-arrested-campus

I don’t know. I’m sure they wanted players, or needed help but stealing guns is just one of those cringe things. Do they give scholarships?

If Cecilia wins, they have to (probably) play North De Soto
Belle Chasse ain’t beating North DeSoto.. BC’s defense is legit, but their offense is garbage and wears out their own defense. QB looks like he doesn’t have a clue sometimes

ESJ won a title from that district
ESJ was in the district when it was ej, B, wj, Ehret Slidell king and riverdale

Istrouma putting it on Haynes in the first half in the only game tonight…

I remember that vaguely

High School football matters more than the parents that are actually paying a tuition. Catholic, Private School, it’s all the same. It also happens in public schools, we just pretend it’s not happening until a school gets caught.

It’s one of the few schools we toured in the Ruston to Monroe area that didn’t even mention sports. It was all about the education, IB World School, clubs, ACT 30+ club, etc.
Every other school, it was all about their football program with the exception of Choudrant. They were also all about education.

That Haynes district is garbage.

There’s a reason for that

Because…they don’t have a football team…

Because…they don’t have a football team… Hard to talk about one if you don’t have one.

Can someone educate me on the playoffs?
This is really the first time I've followed. We have skin in the game now.
One team in our district during the regular season is in a different district for playoffs.
Why would that change?
Is this due to the fact there are 4 districts in playoffs and 5 during the season? If so how do they tell who moves up an down? Would that go to enrollment also?

Classes- 5 each roughly containing 20% of teams. Don’t exist after week 10
Divisions- divided into select and nonselect first, then 4 divisions in each containing roughly 25% of the teams in each.

So does school population come into play is dividing them up?
We are 3A but the team we are playing dropped to div2 nonselect (not a private school) while we stayed DIV 3
