DVRd it. Season stats were off for WM. Not sure about Ponchatoula's. Picture looked good to me, especially considering it wasn't an HD channel in my area. Commentators seemed fair, but I only watched some key plays. I did see a big facemask on Slade that wasn't called and they didn't say a word about it.

I thought officiating was fair. Majority of penalties were illegal procedures which are givens. Otherwise they let them play. There were a few calls on both sides that coulda been called, but way better than officials we use during regular season.

I thought there were a couple plays they could have called PI on WM and a couple facemasks they missed on Ponchatoula. They definitely let them play which everyone would prefer over a bunch of flags. Game had a good flow to if, which isn't easy when it's on TV.

Ehret's not letting anyone score... too much speed and anger on that defense...

I agree the officiating was top notch compared to what I saw during the regular season. I have to believe the LHSAA sent their top guys considering it was broadcast over such a large area. Only things I saw was a late hit out of bounds that could have been called on Ponchy and the 2 play sequence before WM scored their first TD. The refs tryed to give WM a extra down. calling it 2nd down when it was 3rd down. Hank had to walk out on the field and stop the game and argue with them. Then on the next play WM obviously lost a half a half yard but it was still called a first down.

They must have sent the bottom feeders to call the Hahnville-St Amant game. One guy threw his flag so much he probably had to ice his arm after the game.

Calvary had -38 yards rushing on the night. Negative total yards in second half. Riverside better watch out.

Just for fun, the handshake between ponchys center who goes 360 and 74 for WM who goes 400 might have been most combined weight in handshake in LHSAA history

Lightweights next to Baylor TE LaQuan McGowen. LOL

Went to game last night. They absolutely destroyed the LO offensive line. That defense is legit.

I agree, but I would like a transcript of Ponchatoula's pre game chant at midfield. If they said what it sounded like they said, my mind would change a little.

Minus the loss, over all great expierence. And as a football fan, what a game

Destrehan beat them 38-14 this year. Desty has the size and speed to beat a team like Ehret.

Don't know what you think you heard you would have to tell us. I didn't see or hear anything that they haven't done all year. Been watching Hank every since he has been here and I can tell you he wouldn't put up with any thuggish bullshite.

Yeah, that dude was throwing flags from 20 yards away when the refs close to the play weren't calling anything. I think they missed a few false starts on St Amant last night and also what seemed to be an obvious grounding call. Ref also seemed confused a lot of the night holding up the wrong number of fingers to signal which down it was.

The Williams kid was very good. Blazing fast. I was disappointed to see such a high quality athlete talking trash even when the rest of his team was getting manhandled.

Yall are going back to early in the season... there's a reason half of Ehret's D is D1... if they had Caron Baham it would be over...
