West Monroe has outscored opponents 130-0 in the playoffs so far.

No, Zacharyis just trash

They cheered while Acadiana had a player hurt tonight. They are good with signs like this and a sign they put up that said Acadiana is garbage. Straight trash. Zachary wishes they were Acadiana and West Monroe. There is more to success than just being talented. Classless is what Zachary is. Image Link

That sign was lame and immature I’ll give you that

Ever listened to Mr Bitter call the Acadiana games on the radio? That is what classless garbage sounds like

Zachary will get crushed when exactly? I don’t know much about Destrehan, but based on what I saw tonight against Acadiana, Zachary’s Oline will get dominated by WM’s dline if they meet up in the dome

Tonight’s game was tough to analyze Zachary because their speed was negated due to the sloppy field conditions. Acadiana definitely held their own af the line of scrimmage for the most part

Yea well it’s much better now and Ian and Brandon do a really good job. I have nothing against Zachary, let’s make that clear. Zachary is a winner now and should really start acting like it. That’s all I’m saying and I’ll leave it at that. I’ll put the last game 2 years ago as a coach calling out his team for being soft against a team that plays physical and his team taking it overboard. Much cleaner game this year and my initial response was to a Zachary fan saying that the game should have been much worse. To that I say that it could have been much closer. But good game and good luck the rest of the way.

Bingo..

You just answered your own question.

Zachary has major talent at WR, but, just like the Northshore game, the sloppy arse field negates all that.

What exactly do you think WM would run on a fast turf indoors, defensively? See how that worked out against LW, right?

Lot different approach defensivy on sloppy field in mus then indoors where offenses with speed flourish.

Had WM played that Walker team in a mud pie like Acadiana they likely win a close game, or lose a close game, but one thing is for sure, they aint giving up fitty.

WM dominated LW in the dome upfront but speed won out.

I see where Keilon Brown took Acadiana to the woodshed. So speed played a factoe it seems still. Imagine how that had played out on a clean dry field, or in the superdome?

Once Coleman and Bolden were both knocked out of the game on helmet to helmet hits. I think LW wins regardless, but I don’t think it’s a blowout with both playing. WM would’ve been more ball control oriented like they were when Coleman was playing.

The field conditions played to Acadiana’s strengths no doubt.

Zachary’s advantage on the edges was very evident when they were able to get there. In the first half, Brown was handing off on the speed option and the tb was getting stuffed due to lack of push up front. In the second half, he kept it more and attacked the edges of the defense. He didnt throw much but when he did , his arm strength jumped out. Very impressed with Zachary’s skill players on both sides of the ball

If WM had them at home id be confident AF they win outdoors.

Plus, Zachary still is without 3 starters in their front 7.

Kept hearing about Acadiana injuries but damn they played a depleted front for Zachary in prime conditions.

Dont know what it is with Zachary and injuries every year. Hell their entire front 4 was hurt in 2015 and came back in time for the championship game.

that just means their depth is unmatched with dudes who can keep up a high level of play... Hence they own 5A now.

Yes I said it

Yea because we are the ones playing dirty and making cringeworthy signs about other teams girlfriends. Congrats on the win though.

How is that sign "cringeworthy"? You sound sensitive.

Is this the best West Monroe team since 2000? It so hard to keep up with them being 1,000 miles from West Monroe.

This is indeed the most dominant West Monroe team in years. Defensive line sets the tone but the passing game is a legitimate option when needed. Pretty good stable of running backs even with their number one guy on the mend. Well coached and disciplined.

What starters are injured for Zachary? I know they have been battling injuries on defensive front seven. Are the three lb’s still healthy?

That's kinda hard to say.

That 2000 team was loaded, can't remember a lot of the names on that team, Andrew Whitworth was among them. Several players went and played on the D1/II level.

Regardless, this years WM team is playing as good as I have seen them play in a long time, especially on defense.

The WM defense is punishing opposing teams. I thought the Ruston QB was going to get broke in half, IDK how he played the whole game.

Ruston defense played pretty good in the first half, as the score was 13-0 at half but the WM offense ran the ball very well in the second half.

WM defense controlled the whole game pitching a shut-out. I doubt Ruston had more than 125 yds total offense. Rustons TE, Ray Parker, was a none factor, that could have been he was playing hurt though.

Hats off to Ruston, they are starting to go back in the right direction with their football program. They have to replace some good players for next season but it appears they have righted their ship.

WM starts preparing for John Ehret for next week. Should be a good game. WM has home field advantage and should get back Cam Wright at RB.
