That's a complement to his productivity. Using it as a criticism is just intentionally trying to discredit his legacy. I hate LeBron dickriders but this is just silly.

Jordan needed Kerr to make that shot to win the '97 title.

Also, I would never call a Jesus Shuttlesworth-made 3 "fluky."

That Spurs team needed 7 games to dispatch a 49 win Mavs team and were in a dog fight with Okc after being spotted two games due to Ibaka's injury keeping him out early in the series.

You can nit pick just about any title team

LeBron is arguably the best basketball player of all time... his only glaring "failure" (other than the decision) is the finals loss to the Mavs imo.

I'm having trouble understanding how LBJ winning championships without playing on an "all time great team" is a failure? In fact, I'm going to completely disagree with you and make the argument that winning without 3 fellow all stars makes his resume even better.

Hypothetically, let's say LeBron ends his career with 5 rings and Durant ends his with 2-3 on the Warriors, which is clearly an "all time great" team. Are you arguing that Durant's 2-3 would be more significant/memorable than LeBron's because LBJ won with less talented teams? Makes no sense.

I'm no psychic, but I'd guess that LeBron wouldn't have left Cleveland if he had a Magic/Kareem or Pippen as his teammate.

Could you imagine Bird, Magic, or Jordan coming back from baseball going to a team that had the #1 overall pick 3 out of the previous 5 drafts.

As dumb as teams were about trades back then it may as well have been the same thing. Look at how the Lakers got Magic in the first place. That on top of him basically refusing to play for the Bulls.

The Celtics got two first round picks with no protection, one of which ended up being #1, for a clearly declining Bob McAdoo which they turned into Kevin McHale and Robert Parrish.

Yeah, teams still make dumb trades now. But it's nowhere near the level that it was 30+ years ago. They had to make a freaking rule for teams to stop doing dumb shite like what led to Worthy on the Lakers and people want to criticize LeBron while praising players like Magic and Bird for dealing with "the hand they were dealt."

Because the 14 Spurs ANNIHILATED everyone in the playoffs.

Theres no comparison
Except they went 7 games against your 8th seeded Mavs, but somehow excluded that.

He has them in cleveland. People also forget he flat out said "I don't want to wake up and be 34, bad knees and no rings." He is undisputed top 5 of all time but his resume isn't any better than many of players listed.

Yeah, one of the greatest shooters in NBA history getting his shoulders squared to the basket is "fluky."

Eh, the brakes were pumped pretty heavily for Dwyane Wade after LeBron James' first season in Miami. He was injured often and minutes were restricted.

They are very good players, but also career losers prior to LeBron James.

Your biggest failure, using the wrong article in your subject line.

Lebron is good but overrated. Top ten all time but not top five.

There is no objective measure that can support this stance.

No he's right. When you look at his numbers in the heart, clutch, toughness, loyalty, and work ethic categories, he's near the bottom for all-time.
