I don’t think it is necessarily ego as much as him realizing this shite is going to cost him a lot of money.
If he can’t get China to watch his shitty movie and expand his production house over there, he’ll never meet his goal of being a billionaire active player or owning a team.

but he really had a chance here to take his image to a different level and failed miserably.

I am glad I haven’t watched a minute of the nba or nfl in 5 years. They haven’t gotten a dime from me. America would be far better if the time and money we invest in pro sports went to our churches. Far better.
