This is wild:
Career Minutes Played (Including Playoffs)
1. Kareem: 66,297
2. LeBron: 64,439
3. Malone: 62,766
4. Kobe: 57,312
5. Dirk: 57,282
6. Tim Duncan: 56,743
7. Jason Kidd: 56,253
8. Garnett: 55,727
9. Wilt: 55,173
10. Stockton: 54,162
Of these 10 players:
PPG in final season
1. Lebron (29.8*)
2. Kobe (17.6)
3. Wilt (13.2)
4. Malone (13.2)
5. Stockton (10.8)
6. Kareem (10.1)
7. Duncan (8.6)
8. Dirk (7.3)
9. Kidd (6.0)
10. Garnett (3.2)
* Not final season
Not only will he have spent more time on an NBA court than any other player in history within a year, he will also have done while averaging nearly double as many points as anyone who came close.
He’s 38 years old and averages more minutes, points, rebounds, assists and eFG% than when he was 27.
Like him or not, his consistent dominance over the last 19 seasons is just insane.

Put some respeck on Wayne Gretzky's name.

Curious question, how is he on a points per minute basis?

Havent watched dog crap NBA since Jordan retired. Ive tried but the games are nothing but 3 point shooting contests now.

That’s a close comparison but IIRC it took Gretzky a couple seasons to really get going and then slowed down significantly for the last 4-5 seasons
Gretzky had a 14 year run of dominance. LeBron is at 19 and counting

He's averaging 30 ppg in his 19th season at 38 years old. That is incredibly insane. His play is no longer equating to wins, but still impressive nonetheless.

you'd think he'd have more titles to show for said dominance

I love Jordan more than Lebron, but lol if anyone thinks the non-Jordan games in the 90's are anything close, both in entertainment and skill, to what is being played now.

To be fair, he’s playing with a bunch of bums, but to be extra fair, he put that roster together.

Also the flopping and bs foul being called are ridiculous
Lebron complains about touch fouls what do you think he would do if chrles Oakley smacked the shite out of him.

Yet you just listed the NBA. Which hasn't played defense in 20 years.

Charles Oakley wouldn't be able to guard Lebron

LeBron is a soft athlete, in a soft era of the NBA. He is totally unqualified to be compared on a historical basis with athletes of other generations, IMO.
I can say the same thing in the NFL. People are using stats of today to compare to yesteryear, but we've got 45 year old Tom Brady throwing for 4,500 yards, or whatever, and pretty much everyone agrees that he wasn't good this year. Stats have become meaningless, as there is no defense allowed.
LeBron's team stinks, and has for a while. But he's so "dominant".

People will say the quality of play in the NBA is worse and in the same breath admit they haven’t watched a game in 25 years….

They weren't lacking in skill in the 90's near as much as some think, they just didn't have near the freedom of movement to get away with the things they do now. As for 3 point shooting, that's a matter of preference. I don't like watching people jack up 3's all game. I liked when it felt like both teams were trying on both ends. A 3 point shooting contest is boring to me.

It's also funny how they always wax poetically about the 90's just because the GOAT dominated that era. In reality, the 90's was some of the worst basketball ever played in terms of scoring. It was a slog. Jordan was fricking other-worldly though.
