I'll show you an easy way to settle this.

Take away Steph Curry scoring and ability and what do you have? An average atheltic pg with no defense.

Take away Lebron's scoring ability what do you have?

A superior atheltic lockdown defender/ point foward . Lebron is the better all around player. People just hate him and this coming from a Kobe fan.

If Rondo had a decent outside shot he'd be better than Curry. This isn't about oozs and awes. Just think about actual PG ability. Rondo is an elite rebounder, passer, and defender for a pg. He damn near gets triple doubles without points.

You can't take away Curry's most dominant trait and leave Lebron his. If you want to play your stupid what if game, you at least have to take away Lebron's superior athleticism...his biggest asset.

The Warriors are on pace to have best record in NBA history. Your nowhere close to being that good with just one great player, a good player and a bunch of average players. Their whole starting 5 is very very good.

No one expects Cleveland to win this year. My goodness you retards come out from all types of holes at the sight of LeBron's name.

You got to 1 Finals in your first 7 seasons and was swept. You teamed with Wade and Bosh, and even during his crippled years Wade won you the first championship you got, you played better the next one but if it weren't for Ray Allen you wouldn't have it. Even still you go 2-2 in Miami and skip town.

It seems like people who devalue his accomplishments and ability consistently use shallow logic to make clearly emotionally compromised arguments while demonstrating poor command of the language. Due to the narrative constructed in their minds they can't seem to separate what they see from what they feel, projecting an irrational perspective from which they can't escape.

These commonalities would seem to indicate a simple mind. That or an elderly person. Possibly both.

Wow you attacked my grammar on an informal sports board. Oooohhhh

I don't have to devalue his accomplishments, he does that himself by not being able to be, THE MAN, when he's supposed to be. I've never seen someone who is supposed to be such a superstar miss or pass more shots at the end of a game. It's cause he can't do it. Leech onto othe star players to play with cause you know you'll truly lead a team there and win it as, "The Guy". These aren't emotions, I don't know dude, he doesn't make myou world turn or put money in my pocket, but in my observation he's a self obsessed diva, who wants play out of position, and is usually the tipping point to reasons why his team's lose when they do.

It's like the Miami years never happened. Then again, you think Wade played better in a series that lebron was clearly the best player from both teams, so there's that.

Threads like these are helpful to weed out the irrational folks on the MSB.

LeBron GOAT, 2012-2015.

Nice.

But in all seriousness they are two extremely different types of players with extremely different body sizes.

Curry is a far better shooter and maybe slightly better passer but LeBron's post game is insane because he was really the first guy his size that had that much athleticism in the modern era and so he and Steph both have different strengths and weaknesses. LeBron is a good shooter and Steph can drive the lane very well so they have some similarities too. They would be great teammates IMO.

Understood, but let's remember LeBron makes passes no one in the NBA can because he's so strong.

Oh definitely, LeBron is a phenomenal passer like Magic was. I mean LeBron is the only 6'9 plus guy I know of other than Durant that can run the point. I think if Anthony Davis keeps crafting his game he'll be able to do that as well. But LeBron is a phenomenal point guard when the game requires him to be.

hahahahahhhah. He's one of the best defensive guards in the NBA, has the best handles in the NBA, and is one of the top 5 or 10 playmakers in the league

So you just ignore things like him going for 37/12 in game 7 of the 2013 finals against the Spurs, including the shot he hit in the closing seconds to clinch the title? And the 3 he hit in game 6 to even set Allen up to tie the game in the previous possession as part of a triple double? And in 2012 going for 45/15 on 73% shooting in game 6 against Boston ("alpha dog" Wade chipped in 17) when the Heat were down 3-2? And immediately following in game 7 when he scored 32 while getting to the line 17 times? Or in game 7 of the 2013 ECF against the Pacers when he went for 32/8/4 on 15/16 from the line to clinch the series? Despite all of these amazing performances, what he did in last year's finals was even more impressive.

You're telling me that when you say stuff like
quote:

not being able to be, THE MAN, when he's supposed to be.
and
quote:

It's cause he can't do it.
that you're not devaluing his accomplishments? Maybe you're lying to yourself and denying that these events actually occurred. Maybe you just blocked it out since it doesn't fit your laughably biased narrative. Or maybe you just don't know what the frick you're talking about.

I'm not a LeBron fanboy but the only reason he slipped later in the games in last year's Finals was because he was carrying the team and scoring almost 30 points in the first half and by the end he was exhausted. I used to criticze LeBron for passing too much late in games but I definitely think he surpassed that his last two years in Miami and showed he's clutch as frick but he gets tired sometimes and that can often be from not enough help.

Still the Cavs are fairly stcked and shouldn't have any trouble getting through the East.

Wade did win his first title, go back and look at it, Lebron played a very mediocre series against the Thunder, Wade was the consistent one that year and their entire 4 years together.

Ah, I see. You're just a dumbass. Prayers sent.

Did you really leave out the final's mvp? Curry couldn't even win that, that's how you know it's his team and not him. GSW would still be either 1 or 2 without Curry, Cavs would be a lottery team without LBJ. The evidence is already there.
