So the Mensa brain lebron thinks it’s worth noting that things have changed in 50 years…. How many points would bill walton have scored in the 1920s?

If tweet fails to load, click here. Just want to say after seeing clips of the interview, wish we could’ve seen more of LeBron like this. His honesty is refreshing and he doesn’t struggle to be personable. That’s a credit to Pat though.

It’s become common for Lebron and his cult to say things they’ll never have to prove. Since he hasn’t been able to surpass the players he claims to be better than he and his cult have made an all out effort to tear everything else down. It’s what you do when you can’t achieve what you claim to be and it’s specific to Lebron and his worshipers.

The LeBron haters are worse than the LeBron worshippers.

He says that because of all the white players in that era

I truly don’t think there’s a dumber lot out there than folks who don’t think LeBron/Giannis could play basketball in the 70s/80s/90s.
No one has claimed this at all. But had they been a player in the 70s, they wouldn’t be the player they are today.
They would be subject to all the other variables of the era.

If you can’t compare players from different eras then a goat discussion is totally meaningless.
You can compare them in the context of their era. You can’t insert players in different eras. It’s completely illogical.

What would Giannis be paid in 70s salary? Did Lebron forget that part?
I'll never understand why people ask such irrelevant questions

You didn’t watch that team play. You probably weren’t born yet
Posted on 3/26/25 at 8:44 pm to Bench McElroy
He actually probably would have like 25% more points a game... obviously a facetious comment.

It’s completely relevant.
If you are going to insert a player into the past 50 years ago, which is dumb to begin with, there are a lot of variables.
You think Giannis would be the same player had he been born in 1960?

Impressed by 6-0 in the finals

These players today don't have the competitive spirit of Jordan, Bird, Magic, Ewing, Miller. Analytics don't measure heart and grit

But money does have anything to do with this scenario. There are broke high school kids that would dominate the 70s NBA today.

Today’s players are simply better, like every other sport on earth.
Because they’ve had access to modern nutrition and training for most of their lives. A lot of these guys have been receiving intensive amounts of both these things since they were kids.
It’s stupid to compare drastically different eras in any sport
