It's good to hear from a lifelong Lakers fan such as yourself

Have people really been arguing for 6 pages that Rodman could actually beat LeBron one on one?
Also that stats are lies and using stats in context is moving goalposts.
It's the same type of fans that crap on Brees because he was canceled and tried to feign caring about BLM to save his post NFL career. They are either unable to separate the player on the court vs off the court, or are so much of a Jordan fan that they have to crap on anyone in his stratosphere without realizing their arguments refute their arguments, or that their arguments are a net negative on their own beliefs.

Rodman way too slow.

Stop.

Rodman was as quick and good of a defender as there was.

But, he's not guarding Lebron one on one effectively. Nobody is.

If it's a one on one match, then they both have to guard each other. Rodman did not have much of an offensive game and would not score much against Lebron. Also, Rodman never faced anybody that size/ weight with the offensive skills that Lebron has. Rodman would be fouling the shite out of Lebron. Lebron wins this 20-10.

I think Rodman would find a way to get in his head.

The Pistons' Rodman would give him a lot of trouble. The Bulls' Rodman would get torched.

Purely physical skills, obviously Lebron could theoretically destroy Rodman. But in reality, Rodman would physically assault Lebron before he would let LeBron beat him in an 1 on 1 game.

Rodman would have to commit felonies to stand a chance in a basketball game vs Lebron

I hate flopping as much as anyone but the NBA rewarded it so it is hard to blame players for abusing it

you're assuming they play with 2020+ rules. What if LeBron was playing against the bad boy Pistons when players could literally punch each other and keep playing?

I’ll tell you

He’d do the EXACT same thing he did for 99% of his prime. He’d murder those fools.

Did they call a foul when a Piston’s player punched someone? He’d score 40-50 a game on them and they’d all foul out.

some of you don't seem to understand how strong Lebron is. by far the greatest combination of strength and speed in the NBA history. this thread is a joke. Lebron might not be Jordan but he's certainly in the same gym. Rodman isn't on the same planet as those two.

Alright so at the very least we know Lebron would be doing ^^^ that type of shite on the 80s/90s.

It’s kind of funny thinking about him playing in those days. We’ve all seen a ton of film. 95% of the league was not playing tough defense.

Older folks, who is stopping this guy? And how?

Mind you he’s a playmaking ball hander first.

this is such revisionist history and shows you either weren't alive or didn't follow basketball in the 80s

No I am saying that LeBron wouldn’t be incapable of adjusting to a more physical game because his prime was in the era of peak flopping. He flopped because the NBA rewarded it, bad boy pistons would have done the same in his shoes.
