Yeah I miss Horner as well and as much as I love Phil, he needs to go. At one point he was talking like Pogi had dropped Jonas, but Jonas was literally on his wheel.

Carapas fractured kneecap from that crash. Damn, dude finished the race with that.

With Carapaz and Mas now out, EF and Movistar will have some interesting strategies.

EF still has Uran as well

Powless for EF could go for mountain jersey. May see Jorgensen for Movistar go for some stages.

Diddn't get a chance to watch the first stage until last night. Looking forward to a Tadej vs Jonas showdown. Good on Nielson for grabbing the polka dots.

Will Monday be the day the Manx Missile eclipse Eddie?

I love Marx but he ain't no Cannibal. One is a great sprinter and one is The GOAT.

Woke up super early because we have a "friendly" ride with my masters team and the young guns team I coach doing the Assualt on Mt Mitchell route. Starting at 5 to beat some of the heat. I am going to be looking back at the sag all day and my only hope is to beat the other sprinter on the masters team. Just hoping to break 7 hours since you know its a recovery day for me...

I like Van Aert vs Van der Poel tomorrow. Maybe a more versatile sprinter like Mads or Girmay. I don’t think it will be an all out sprint tomorrow.

Cool to see Quinn Simmons in the stars and stripes jersey leading out Pedersen for the intermediate sprint.

Damn. Loves watches and a roadie. Surprised we aren't bffs.

Never did assault on Mitchell. One of the 2 rides I wanted to do in my prime I never managed.

The other was ride to the sun. I missed an opportunity to go with 2 buddies and I don't think I'll ever be in shape enough to try that one again.

Can Powless hold on for another 30K? Very impressive ride by him today thus far. Would be great to see one of us Yanks take a Tour stage especially considering there are only 6 in the entire Peleton.

edit: lol nope
It’s been quite a while since I’ve seen the first 2 stages of the Tour as difficult as these

Loving this from Powless. And this Peacock app is garbage. Can’t rewind or start from beginning.
