I have not looked at the route much, but I know there is no Ventoux, but we have the Tourmalet.

Is there a cobble section anywhere? Or a velodrome finish?

Any Mericans in this race and any who will be decent?

Only 6 total American Riders this year
Sepp Kuss could surprise people and come in the top 3 for a single stage. Neilson Powless a slightly smaller chance but is still a good rider and fun to watch. But certainly no one that can crack the top 10-15 in the General Classification

Cav is with Astana now - ready to see if he's got one more in him.

think it’s between Pog, MVDP, WVA, and Girmay.

I have Pogacar or Vingegaard. Those two are favorites if unscathed. Two top teams loaded with studs, Two previous winners. It's hard to bet against them.

Outside of that, maybe Mikel Landa or Frenchman Gaudu, he was 4th last year. You could say whoever stands out for Ineos team early, Bernal, pidcock.

Darkhorse for me is Aussie Ben O'Connor with AG2R. I have a soft spot for the team.

But I think we all want the mavericks of Wout or MVDP to make noise and cause chaos.

We were talking about who might win the first stage.

Oh my bad, I was wondering why you had the mavericks in there.

The Netflix show was phenomenal. I don’t follow throughout the year but an avid TDF follower. Any big names change teams?

Cavendish with Astana.

I'm curious to see if all the protests have an effect on the TDF. I hope not. There's always something that goes down, but it appears things are pretty crazy in some parts of the country - way beyond some farmers parking tractors on the route.

Pog revenge Tour. Vingegaard is only guy that stands a chance to change that.

Green jersey race between Mads, Van Aert, Girmay, and Phillipsen IMO. I like Mads because Van Aert is going to have to do too much team work.

Hope to see Alaphillipe ride free and win some stages, maybe mountain jersey.

Watched Chris Horner video yesterday. He talked about Bernal, and as he was about to win the TDF, NBC producers were in his ear telling him to declare Bernal the next big thing that could go on a tear at the TDF - and Horner refused. Basically saying he thought highly of Bernal but didn't have him in that category.

The impression I got was that Chris is his own man and that might explain why he's not with NBC any more. He wouldn't just say whatever they wanted him to say.

Horner mentions Julian Alaphillipe winning the ITT, beating Geraint, but if Geraint had won that ITT and gone into yellow, Bernal would have been the domestique.

It was interesting to hear him discuss this. I forget some of these details as the races go by.

If Froome doesn’t get broken in half by that wall in 2019 right before the Tour I think he wins his 5th.

Had no idea The Missile was on a team this year. especially after not making the Tour last year and then that brutal break in at his home (I think that was last year?). Hoping he breaks the record this year!!

BY the way the Tour Documentary was absolutely phenomenal so it's a must watch if you haven't already.
