Litespeed Vortex with full Dura Ace, Look pedals, and Mavic Ksyrium wheels - best machine I've ever owned, including automobiles. Going from stuff like 105 to Dura Ace was a jump I didn't know existed. Unreal.
Wrecked and destroyed by drunk movers that got angry I reported them for being drunk when I was in the military - they were contracted by DoD to move servicemembers. They trashed all of my stuff.
Now have a Surly with fatass tires. Steel is real.
For years I wanted a Litespeed Saber because Armstrong rode one back when Trek's TT bike was a disaster.
I'm excited for today's stage. Could be very interesting. Not hearing as much about the riots in France, hopefully the Tour is safe to get to Paris without any problems.

They had to close the Grand Colombier off bc there are too many people. This stage is about to be absolutely insane
eta: Holy shite it’s also Bastille Day. They just said they are expecting the most spectators in Tour history.
Must see TV today

Which feed are you watching?
I’ve got the global on the big screen, the domestic on the phone and the GCN on a tablet. I’ll be worthless this morning

I've been wanting a 90's Litespeed or a lugged Bianchi so I've been trolling FB marketplace for one. Saw this exact setup for sale. I'm really itching to go take a look at it but it's an hour away and I just bought a new mountain bike so the wife will murder me if I bring in another bike into the house.

Today's stage should be a banger

Caleb is screwed. If he makes time cut today he won’t make it tomorrow.

A few years ago I stumbled upon a Miyata TI6000 lugged titanium bike, a lady had purchased a house and the previous owner left it there, she sold it to me for $25. I rode the hell out of it for a while then panic sold it like an idiot when we were moving with a kid on the way. I have regrets about letting that one go.

This is setting up to be a good last 20kms. I’ve got a meeting at 10am. I won’t be on camera for that one, lol.

Can they isolate JV or no? JV should have the energy to sit on Pog wheel today, I think the big move happens tomorrow or next. Pog goes today but can't put time he could lose this thing. I think the ITT is going to decide this more than the mountains.

This is setting up for a fantastic and drama filled ITT

Pog picks up 5 more seconds on JV. Gonna be quite the finish

Plus a 4 second time bonus right?
Posted on 7/14/23 at 10:31 am to bbap
I THINK so. The gap is now only 9 seconds

Who's pumped for tomorrow? Nobody has ever raged on a Tour stage like this guy into Morzine.

This TDF is giving me Lemond v Fignon vibes for being super close right till the end. Which one will pull out some aero bars for the win?
