LaMelo and LiAngelo are signing with Lonzo's agent, looking to go overseas

It's on the front page of ESPN. Not much other info, so it's really not worth linking. The LaVar Show continues. He says he wants them on the same team. Maybe they can get a deal to play on the Shanghai Sharks.

It just blows my mind why major media outlets continue to give these people attention. If they stop talking about them, they'll go the frick away permanently.

They’re all fricking terrible

Because it went so well the last time a Ball went and played overseas.

Sending LiAngelo back to China?

Shel is entertained by a father exploiting his kids

Should head to China, basketball is becoming more and more popular there

Where even Jimmer Fredette can become a legend.

This is simply escalating to theater of the absurd. We've transitioned from Lavar being an independent thinker and talking like President Trump and Clay Travis to Lavar pulling his 2 sons out of school (one from a full-fledged athletic scholarship to one of the top universities in America), shopping them to play pro overseas at such a precocious age and criticizing the Lakers coaching staff to the point they implement the "Lavar Ball Rule." I won't agree with Lavar on this, he better hope this all works out or it could end ugly and I don't wish that on those sons.

Do any of our resident contrarians still want to argue this guy is a "good dad" and looking out for the best interests of his kids?
He's a giant piece of shite. The end.

He’s fricking awful and always has been.
LaMelo’s career has been sabotaged and any chance that he had at becoming a functional NBA player has been greatly diminished by playing on a sub-par AAU team, missing out on his junior year, and going pro at 16 with a huge target on his back.
I bet they will end up in either Japan or a second tier European league (Belgium, Germany, a bad Israeli team) where they will do very poorly.

Hopefully they'll have to surrender their passports upon arrival

People love train wrecks. A common enemy can really draw people of differing groups together.

Let’s not pretend either one of them would make it on an NBA roster.
The remaining Ball boys only have a small window of relevancy left, so why not go overseas and make money off their name? Can’t do that at UCLA.

LaMelo certainly had a chance. As much as any low 5 Star.
These guys are going to get very low six figures combined, if they’re lucky. No one in Spain, Turkey, or Russia will consider them.
