Ravens are offering Lamar less guaranteed money than Kyler Murray which is ridiculous.

Ravens don't seem to want to keep him around. Odd choice when their whole offense is designed around his legs and they have no receiving talent.

Crazy stuff. Lamar Jackson, a former MVP winner, is gonna be on the open market after his rookie contract expires. Easily the #1 UFA this offseason.

Just because the Cardinals gave out a stupid contract, doesn't mean the Ravens should.

Just because AZ made a mistake doesn't make it binding precedent moving forward.

The 2 contracts given last offseason (Watson, Murray) are likely going to have the opposite effect.

So some guy at ESPN says they COULD be $100M apart. Basically having no clue.

Then ESPN uses the random quote to push it as news.

Like when Jaws said Kaep could be the GOAT QB. Prompting ESPN to run stories for days about how “some experts think Kaep is the GOAT!”

The ridiculous part is the Cardinals paying Murray what they did. I wouldn't pay Jackson what Murray is being paid either. If you were a GM, would you give Jackson $200 million guaranteed? A 1-4 playoff record with the AFC only being more difficult now isn't doing him any favors.

Sounds like both sides want to go their separate ways and they are going to use irreconcilable contract negotiations as the excuse they give the fans when they sit down and tell them mommy and daddy wont be playing together anymore but we both love you very much.

The Ravens were more successful without him. Lamar needs to realize he hasn’t done very much for the Ravens to warrant that kind of money. It’s Baltimore. Not Detroit

The Ravens won more playoff games and Super Bowls with Joe Flacco than they have Lamar. Why do they need to give him that much money?

The Falcons are the favorite in Vegas.

This is a move that Blank would make. Hell, he had Watson last year until the Browns money whipped him

I think you’re going to see a lot of organizations look at Watson at Cleveland, Kyler Murray and Lamar wherever he goes and see that if you pay these QBs an insane amount of money, you won’t have anyone around them. They can’t win with just good QB talent. The Ravens, Chiefs, Eagles and a few other organizations know this.
The QBs with the biggest guaranteed contracts almost never win a Super Bowl after getting their money.

Please do not let this happen. This move would ensure the Falcons will suck for another decade.
