I think Pat Summitt could have done it, easily.

Staley is a coach that wins by significantly out-talenting other teams. This is stupid just for that reason.

Where I am at, a Hall of Fame level female high school girls’ basketball coach, she had a state championship and multiple Final Final appearances on her resume, had to double as coach of the boys’ team for a season because of an illness situation with the boys’ coach.
She did fine, I believe took her team a few rounds in the playoffs. I never had any doubts that she would, because I covered her for years and I knew she was as solid as you can get on X’s and O’s and she was tough as nails and wasn’t going to take s**t off anyone or put up with someone not hustling or giving maximum effort, male or female.
Like I said, I think Pat Summitt easily could have coached men.
I don’t see Dawn Staley coaching men. It would be an abject disaster.
