It's only more difficult to win if you're not on one of the 3 teams that every mega star is on. If you're LeBron you have to beat maybe one team with the same level of talent.

The NBA is a joke product wise

AKA it’s harder to win in the nba

As you stated, and damn near everyone agrees, only 3 teams max a year have a shot at the nba title. That’s 90% of the players from the bat having no shot at a title

By that same logic, you can also lose 12 times and still win a title.

What would be the best way of determining this?

How many different organizations win the title over a certain span?

I’m not even sure.

How many individual players were on a winning team starting roster as a percentage of the league they play in

In the NBA its a laughably small number.

The team logo themselves arent all that important when they just jump teams.

NBA media having the logic and cleat chasing vigor of a teenage girl is why junking teams is a problem in the NBA.

Realistically if you get 2 rings, and DEFINITELY if you get 3, it should unlock your new ability to be objectively judged as the GOAT, using all of your other attributes.

The NFL isn’t judged by the same criteria. Not even close. Aaron Rodgers is allowed in the conversation. Brees is allowed at the table. Nuance is discussed. Different eras are weighed. Roster builds are part of the equation.

I will never judge an NBA player who feels the need to prove his greatness by moving. And stacking up rings is the only way to do it for most elementary level fans.

Now, if you do it wrong, like KD, it can certainly hurt.

There is nothing hard about winning a championship in the NBA

In fact its so easy that everyone already knows which two maybe three teams even have any possible chance of winning the thing before the long worthless shite season even starts.

Out of all the leagues the NBA is by an amazing margin the most dead on accurate to preseason odds. Zero times has someone come out and "shocked" anyone. But it has happened in every other sport.

There are only a handful of players that actually matter in the NBA. Get some of them on the same team and you win. Its that easy.

Nothing in this says anything about how hard it is to win a championship. What you just posted is how EASY it is to PICK a winner. Not for the team to win it.

For the other 30 or whatever teams this only proves it’s much harder to win a championship in the nba.

That is backing up what he says

That’s still not really a feather in the nba’s cap. You’re a postseason sport that has a predictable postseason..not great Bob

So basically if you aren't one of a handful of teams you have no shot at winning a title. Sounds pretty hard to me

It would take a miracle for a team like New Orleans to finally win a title

This is nonsense. And I cant believe a single Saints fan would agree

In the NBA, you can lose one of the greatest players in the history of the game, and plug in your point guard Magic at center, and still win the title

But 1 no-call PI can end your season, and your shot at a championship. 1 blown call. Or your MVP QB ends up hobbled in the big game, and your teams gets destroyed. Youre simply not plugging someone else into a critical NFL series, giving you the chance to get your main guy healthy for games 5 thru 7, like Bird or Willis Reed did

I have a hard time believing that Tampa would have been anything more than what they were had Brady not signed on as a free agent. One 40 something QB and the balance of powers were so tilted that they won the Super Bowl.

I do believe there are a lot of NFL teams with Pre-Brady Tampa talent. Just no Brady.

So he chooses a ridiculous debate subject.
quote:

"It's way harder to win a championship in the NBA than it is in the NFL."

And then he makes the worst possible argument to defend his position.
quote:

I love the NFL damn it but the NBA playoffs alone you have to win 16 games to be crowned champion after playing 82 games. The NBA playoffs is an entire NFL season in itself. Carry the hell on!!

I’m starting to wonder if Kendrick Perkins is that poster who started the thread about bad college football players who turned into great NFL players and proceeded to pick Michael Vick.
