There will be no sign and trade... He's going as a FA. And GS will not have his full bird rights when he opts out next season

Any real chance they can't fit him in if he opts out?

Lol the NBA is such a joke.

Again, having a $26M trade exception could be enticing to OKC and get them something out of this. It sadly would help GS, but at this point, OKC may say it's in our best interest to give ourselves that option.

I'm not reading all these pages but I sure hope that everybody who killed LeBron is absolutely destroying KD right?! I always liked KD but thought he had a lot of p&ssy in him......this confirms it to the extent that this is the weakest move I have ever seen from a star. ABGS (anybody But Golden State).

They will still be able to keep him no matter what bc cap will raise 20 mill and they have another 30+ mill coming off the books next offseason. They would just need to sign him before they re sign all their FAs with bird rights.

To just ask
Who is going to be the 5?
They're trading Bogut now, to make the dollars work.

Ezili is up for a big pay raise this season. I assume they resign him.
quote:he's older, so i'm not sure what teams are willing to pay for him, but he proved he does have some value...
Barbosa is a FA right now. I assume they will try and keep him? He's prob gonna want 10+ mill.

Their starting rotation will be stacked but their bench is about get depleted real fast.

He deserves to get roasted just as Lebron did and it was def a pussy move.
But still, I don't blame him. Dude wants a ring and doesn't care what anyone else thinks of him. He also apparently doesn't care if this decision pretty much makes him a villain much like Lebron was in Miami.

They're going to struggle in some games if they can't rebound or use high post to feed like they did.
You've got to have a serviceable C to win in the NBA.

Lebron going to Miami was one of the best things that could've happened to the NBA.

@SportsCenter: Steph Curry is now 4th highest-paid player on GSW.
• KD ($27M)
• Klay ($16.6M)
• Green ($15.3M)
• Curry ($12.1M) LINK

This is allowed but Paul going to LA was unfair to the league. Ok

The Warriors 5? They've outdone themselves and now have a super death lineup
Curry
Klay
Iggy
Durant
Draymond
Arguably (or maybe not) the best lineup of all time

the difference between free agency and a trade
also the league owned 1 of those teams in that trade at the time

Thats a nasty lineup I agree, but bogut getting hurt was where the cavs took back the series. You have to have a decent big who can protect the paint and grab some boards. If they play green/KD at 5/4 theyre gonna be soft of the glass
