Arguably my least favorite LSU player of all time.

Marginal NFL player, he's done. No team will take on this headache.

However, a source familiar with the case said Boutte never bet “against himself” and his actions in LSU games. In other words, he is not accused of throwing a game.

Bull fricking shite.

Meaning he didn't bet his rec yard unders, just LSU unders as he proceeded to have no interest in catching the ball.

I mean you can actually read the warrant which details his bets involving himself and know that he didn’t bet against himself.

Ryan Clark played his arse off for LSU and was/is a good advocate for the school. Kayshon was a lazy bum and a diva. If you're going to be a diva, at least be good. He's a bozo and I'm glad he's failing after college too.

The NFL will absolutely not let him back in the league with an arrest related to gambling. Sure Ridley and a couple others got caught but they weren’t betting on their own teams or own games and it wasn’t criminal.

Warrant says that he bet his own ATD and over yards against FSU. lol.

Used 2 accounts. One under his mom's name and another under "Fortenberry". Total deposited was $132,000 and total withdrawals was $50,000 so he lost about $72,000 over the course of a year and half.

eta: He also used his own email, bank account, debit card, and made bets from his personal phone, while underage.

Can't the NFL suspend a player for just about any crime, regardless of when the crime was committed?

Reggie Bush laughs at your question. Oh yeah, so does Pete Carroll.

Had one great game against Ole Miss during Covid year as a freshman, then mailed it in the rest of his LSU career.

C’mon dude. He mailed it in but he was dominant in 2021 prior to his season ending injury. He was never the same after and his attitude was shite

He's barely an NFL player - late round draft pick that was inactive most of the season for a bad team. Whether he gets reprimanded by the NFL or not, good chance his NFL is done anyway.

Which makes him a great candidate for the league to throw the book at him and set an example/standard.

That means nothing if he let a friend or family member in on it.

Who said they were felonies? The crimes those two committed were NCAA violations that cost USC dearly yet the NFL so yes, they committed NCAA crimes but the NFL didn't care so to answer the initial post I responded to - no.

Yup
quote:

Two of them included bets Boutte made on himself as part of an eight-leg parlay, in which a bettor wagers on multiple outcomes at once, police said. Boutte bet that he would score a touchdown and gain at least 82.5 yards against Florida State in the season opener Sept. 4, 2022.

Boutte made the bet the day before the game from LSU's football operations building, the document said.

He’s not very good at it either
quote:

FanDuel provided State Police with a complete history of the first account’s nearly 9,000 wagers that spanned April 2022 to May 2023. Over two years, $637,537 was wagered from the account, with $556,272 won.

This isn't real and it never happens according to the true believers.

Players, coaches, and especially officials would never do such a thing.
