You gotta be fricking kidding me. Kansas player didn’t have to stand over and taunt K State player then start throwing punches when his team came to defend him like any team would.

No teams want to avoid playing in bowl games...no matter how shitty.

Gives teams 20 extra days to practice and gives teams a chance to look at their younger, inexpierenced players

I mean some players might not be crazy a bout it but coaches absolutely want those practices and a chance to play an extra game.

Uhhh...what video did you watch? I was curious because I only remembered de Sousa and McCormack doing anything so I went back and followed each of the numbers you posted. None of those four did anything but stand around and yell things (#30 shoved one person)...let alone throw a punch.

Go back and look at those videos again very closely. There are five or six from different angles and at various times during the melee those players all threw punches, pushed fans down, or curbed stomped.

That’s a K State player who helped to start the hands swinging.

No, De Souza throws the first punch when it was initially just pushing & shoving. Once he throws that punch, its full on chaos.

De Sousa will soon be enjoying warmer temperatures when his thug arse is deported to his hometown of Luanda, Angola.

Listen, I’m as much of a “get off my lawn” guy as you will find. Normally I am with you. But the K State player deserved to get that layup thrown and then have the guy stand over him.

And the kid that got the shot blocked wasn’t even involved in the fight. It was K State players running off the bench, one of them in street clothes, that led to punches being thrown.

Kansas guys acted inappropriately from that point on, but the blocked shot and taunting was deserved.

Suspensions, DQs, bans, law suits - all that shite.

But there are plenty of criminal charges that could and should be brought, right and left...

Did De Souza run over to the K State bench? Or did K State bench players run onto the floor and confront De Souza? Even K State’s coach admitted his played made a punk move by stealing the ball and trying to score.

The Kansas State guy in street clothes is K State's Manager and he was trying to calm things down until #33 pushed him from behind & sucker punched him from behind which sent him into de Sousa who then thought the guy was attacking him. At the 18 second mark of the ESPN footage you can see the K State team manager trying to hold back his players while trying to deescalate things.

Do you ever watch basketball? When the game is out of reach the winning team will just dribble the clock out instead of trying to score and rub it in. If you are on the losing side you should appreciate the other side being kind and let them run the clock out. You don’t go steal the ball and try to score.

The Kansas players were over there almost as soon as the KSU players and they ran from the far side of the court. Standing over a guy after you already showed him up with the block is also a punk move and got him a technical which they actually shot when they put the second back on the clock.

Yes, scoring a meaningless basket justifies being stomped on, sucker punched in the back of the head, and stomped on.
