De Sousa is fortunate that someone knocked the chair out of his hand before he royally fricked up

The camera guy in the orange hat slowed him down. De Sousa was dropping the chair before the asst coach got to him.

Fran Frachilla just said the area of the arena where De Sousa went nuts was the Disabled Section of the arena.

Here's the best video that actually shows everything.

1. 2-3 K-State players come up and shove de Sousa down
2. de Sousa stands up and throws first punch
3. injured K-State player in black polo jumps in and returns punches
4. Lot of shoving, people getting knocked down
5. Garrett and McCormack go after black shirt but are held back by fans (s/o to them) *NO STOMPING OCCURED*
6. McCormack pulled away by tGOAT Bill Self
7. Words are exchanged
8. All done

Great video. Confirms what I have been saying.

De Shouza would have gotten a technical foul and it should have ended there. K State guys caused the fight.

Kansas players were out of line during the fight.

de sousa on thin ice regardless, that dude is done whether the ncaa says he is or not.

suspension for mccormack (not sure length, but wouldn't be surprised with anything) and probably something for garrett. not sure what will happen to k-state guys.

people will be very, very upset when this has a minimal effect on kansas' season

frick that. K State guys stood up for their teammate. Pretty obvious you’ve never played a team sport at a competitive level otherwise you would understand.

Pretty classless of the KU player to stand over that guy taunting him while up 22 to touch off the brawl too.

Did any of y’all play basketball? While the Kansas players deserve all the punishment that is coming their way that was a complete bush league move by the K State player. Kansas was showing them mercy and dribbling it out and the dude goes for the steal and layup. That block was awesome and would’ve been a perfect way to shove it in his face if it just ended there but obviously that’s not where it happened. I’m not sure who the K State player was that was in street clothes but it looked like he threw the first punch.

Watch the video just posted on this page. Kansas St players came out pushing De Shouza.

K State players should have come out yelling at their own team mate to not be acting a fool by stealing the ball in the last 5 seconds.

YOU DON’T EVER RUN OFF THE BENCH. The player who got his shot blocked was not being hit or shoved. The pushing and shoving started from the other K State players.

You just proved my point. Who gives a damn if he tried to steal the ball, you don’t stand over somebody without his teammates coming to his aid. If they don’t that’s on them. You obviously never played competitive team sports. If his teammates wouldn’t have come out to defend him it would have been fricked up.

Haha there was only one person involved in the brawl that threw more punches than him. He had no business getting involved and started swinging very early on. I will say after watching the video the Kansas player throws the first punch after being pushed to the ground. He should be suspended for the rest of the year and so should the K State bench player.

Not sure why the K State player decided to be a little B and go for the steal there. Should’ve accepted the loss and walked to the bench.

I can’t believe how people are disagreeing with this.

Stealing the ball was the ultimate bitch move and the block AND THE TAUNT were awesome. K State bench got mad he put their punk arse teammate in his place.

If you're fine with the first, then you should be fine with the second as well.

BTW, De Sousa should learn to dribble. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been an issue.

Which is funny because De Sousa came in hot because he got embarrassed because the K State player stole the ball.

I’d argue grabbing a fricking stool in a fistfight is the ultimate bitch move

Honestly, that jump back and running to grab the chair seems like a bigger bitch move than Cam Newton's fumble avoidance.

I really want someone to isolate that for a gif.

The Big 12 will end up making De Sousa the poster child for this. The shot of him with the stool with the woman on the ground looking like she is fighting for her life has gone viral. He will never suit up in college again. And it may affect who drafts him.
