Right. I don't blame KSU for pushing him off either, especially once he was standing over him for a prolonged period of time. He certainly took it too long.

I am sure De Sousa will appreciate your support of his inability to rein in his emotions while he is no longer playing.

It is as simple as not acting like a 10 year old.

you think De Sousa would have been suspended for just standing over the KSU player after the block? That is a technical at most.

That wasn't the normal taunting you see when a guy gives a quick stare to a dude on the ground, I'm sure you realize that.

I can agree it wasn’t normal. But it also happened in a two second period. How do we know he wasn’t about to turn away before the bench got there? They were on the court pretty quickly.

You think both teams should receive roughly the same amount of discipline?

Can you explain why you don’t? Both teams had two guys that were the main instigators. Both teams had two guys that came in and added to it. KU’s guy’s actions were worse, so he gets a few more games.

The player that got his shot blocked didn’t push anyone back. He was laying on the ground looking up at his daddy.

The players pushing De Shouza was one player from the court and two players from the bench. I’m sorry, but you don’t get to play the “I’m sticking up for my guy” card when your guy was out of line.

K State’s bench running on the floor started the fight part of the incident.

The game was over and DeSousa ran up on the guy when he was down on the ground. People come off the bench when the game is over and DeSousa went out of his way to walk up to him so he couldn't get up.

Pushing DeSousa back is 100% normal and the bench guys aren't limited to the bench after the game.

The genius refs, put 0.1 second back on the clock after this and made the teams come back out in a 81-60 game after a freaking brawl

I would fire all of them for having ZERO common sense

De Souza's block was a foul.

He will likely be out of basketball and the suspect in a heinous crime within the next 5 years. He should probably go ahead and move to India and take up Buddhism

Kid deserved it. De Shouza didn’t kick him, push him, or even as much as commit a foul against him. He walked over and was staring at the kid on the ground. He was assessed the appropriate technical foul for that. It was the K State team that ran in and started pushing him first. Then De Shouza started swinging. That’s where he messed up.

Did y’all watch this angle?

It was an unnecessary hard foul before anything even started. That shite doesnt fly any time of the game any where. What desouza did almost always results in an altercation. If this was streetball he would get shot or stabbed.

This is another one where I want to tell the announcers to shut the frick up and stop talking in their announcer voice over this.

THERE WAS NO FOUL. It was a clean block. The only “foul” assessed was for the taunting after. NOTHING PHYSICAL HAPPENED UNTIL K STATE BENCH PLAYERS CAME IN PUSHING.

Do you really consider that a hard foul? The guy just fell after he landed. There was nothing malicious with a push or hitting his head or grabbing him. If anything that’s a normal foul.

That wasn't a hard foul. It was a clean block. Only foul was the taunting and standing over the K-State player after the block. If he blocks the shot then walks away, game is over and the blocked shot at the end was just an exclamation point on a victory.

It was a foul, but it wasn’t a hard foul. The shooter was off balance trying and failing to avoid the block. The defender blocked the shot and bumped the body of the shooter, who only needed a light bump to fall to the floor since he was already off balance. A foul, but nothing uncalled for until after the whistle.

I was always told as a player, if a guy wants to score punk basket at end of game to just let it go. Nothing good comes from fighting at that point and if we played them again we would make up for that at that time. You don't be a bitch like KU player was in this case.
