KC radio just said that the girlfriend's mother was in the house when she was shot.

Not knowing all the facts as I am sure the coaches did not know of the first murder and had no idea who they were confronting or did they ?

To my surprise, I just read that yes the AFL did in fact cancel its games for that weekend.
It was only three games scheduled, but considering the league's shaky financial footing at the time, even that is surprising.
