His “beliefs” are statistically untrue.
A belief is different than a fact
You “believe” abortion is wrong or tax rates should be higher. Those are value judgments
You can’t “believe” blacks are disproportionally shot and killed by police. Data and statistics prove it wrong

First off, we don’t know what the settlement is. So it’s all speculation at this point.

quote:Definitely. NFL was always vulnerable in this case and probably should have settled sooner. Assuming that they're 100% guilty and Geragos' case is 100% correct, this isn't even close to the worst thing the NFL has done this decade. They have a serious PR problem, and they've earned it, and this settlement is one way they have to pay for it.
they didn't want the potential judgement heading their way after this next arbitration to become public imo

Yeah, I mean, I only follow the FBI's statistics that refute Kaps whole narrative.
But you do you man, I'm sure you're a genius.

The amount is irrelevant.

FTFY - No point risking a loss and airing their documents when it's not extravagant to settle.
Now it's over and the owners can keep counting their money while they watch to see if the ratings keep going up before the renegotiate the television rights in a few years.
For reference, according to wikipedia, each NFL team receives $255 million from the NFL television contracts each year. Assuming it's about $50 million, less than $1.6 million/team to keep all those documents a secret is a steal for the NFL.
And I'm betting there will be a non-disparagement clause in the settlement too.

Not with this decision he certainly hasn't.
ETA: But yes, he does actually contribute otherwise.

The amount is very relevant it is an indication whether or not the NFL really thought they could lose. If Kap really had hard evidence that he or Reid was being blackballed, his attorney wouldn't have been talking about it on TV.

It's not. Kaep taking the settlement says he either knew he had no case or he sold out.

They almost took Brady to the SCOTUS over deflated balls so they wouldn't have settled here if they didn't think he had a case.
Some reporters on twitter are estimating that’s CK &Reid are looking at something in the $60-$90M range

Oh, well if some people on twitter are speculating
Reid who just signed a $22 mil contract is getting a settlement for being blackballed?
Posted on 2/15/19 at 1:55 pm to castorinho
Yep, Kap has donated a significant amount of money. Also there is now a sweeping social justice platform among the NFL teams.
Posted on 2/15/19 at 1:56 pm to sicboy
The Falcons blew a 25 point lead

Good
Especially when Kaep just wanted 20 million to play, now they gotta pay him triple that
