No reason to play tonight and you can’t risk player injury by playing this later in the week and then turning around and playing again on Sunday.

I got downvoted for asking about this as an option.

Bills equipment staff is currently packing stuff up on the sideline, so it appears it has been called and we’re just waiting on official word from the NFL.

That would be handing the Chiefs the #1 seed

Why would they call it a draw? That makes no sense.

Both these teams are making the playoffs. Sucks for the bengals because they are gonna suffer because of it, but at the end of the day player safety should be #1.

Or flip a coin.

Sorry, I tuned in late. Why would they call a game over an injury? I get that it's serious, but we've seen that in football before many times.

What is the rationale?

Seriously. Vegas considers home field 3 points. Regular season games are not that important.

Declare it a “no contest” and the game is stricken from the record. High school and college teams do it all the time when events out of anyone’s control occur, mainly weather. This situation would definitely qualify.

This wasn't exactly an injury
