Yeah it should be kind of eye opening regardless of your politics.

The right use to ostracize CK for his kneeling now the left is doing the same for any player who doesn't do or say what they want. We've done a full 180 at this point.

Maybe unlike the rest of these dumbass athletes, he understands what that group actually stands for.

CK & a fraction of NFL players kneeled. No one criticized most of the rest who didn't kneel.

Don't see the big deal here.

Perhaps even more interesting and potentially controversial than him not kneeling is him not wearing a BLM shirt.

Earlier I went through 100 pics posted with the hashtag. I counted 97 whites, 2 blacks and 1 Indian.

Nba supports the movement and not the organization. Have you seen where nba has supported the organization.

The only people I have seen who haven’t been willing to separate the two are those who are very involved in partisan politics and way off to the right.

Also there is a clear difference between saying black lives matter and supporting the organization.

You SHOULD be right, but I also understand those who want to distance themselves from it because too many people are simpletons and can't view this with any level of nuance. I support racial equality just like every other rational person, but I wouldn't wear that shirt. That phrase has been hijacked by that organization and you can't pretend like it's not one in the same. Think about it like this. All Lives Matter is a common sense truth that isn't controversial at face value but what do you think would happen if a player busted out a t-shirt with that on it?

You don’t understand the purposeful conflation of the 2?

Why is the “movement” and organization the same name? Has the NBA outwardly condemned the organization?

The semantic overload is on purpose. That’s why people get shite on for saying All Black Lives Matter. You really need to find new people to look to for thought other than a bunch of athletes

This doesn’t even mention that the movement is inherently flawed because there is no systematic racism, other than affirmative action. The police also statistically aren’t racist. So, the movement is retarded.

I am Not looking up to anyone. I am taking about the common usage of the phrase. If you can’t see that when someone like O says black live matter that they aren’t supporting the organization you are being what they call willfully obtuse.

They've had hundreds of millions of dollars donated to an organization that doesn't even really exist

You can’t even talk about the purposeful semantic overload. You’ve skipped over it 3 times now. I’ll wait for you to get you talking points for another night.
