Exactly. Which tells you that the players are supporting the social movement and not the organization. Would love to see you link me to where the nba is donating $ to the black lives matter org. I would love to see that tbt

No. It tells me they're too fricking stupid to realize what they're actually supporting, as are a lot of other people.

No your mind is too warped by your political leanings to see the difference.

Very sad.

He sees the difference. You are either legit as stupid as Your persona or intentionally ignoring it. It doesn’t matter what they are intending to support it’s what they are functionally supporting.

Keep playing your word games bro.

When these college coaches say black lives matter the intent of their message is that they are supporting an end to racism and police brutality.

Period.

Patty Mills donating salary to BLM

Slam Magazine links BLM donation page on website

I know Slam isn't directly affiliated with the NBA, but Patty Mills certainly is. These are just two examples of people/organizations donating to the BLM group (or linking to their direct donation page). Again, this tells me people don't know what this group/movement is really about and people need to educate themselves.

The irony of an NBA player who got rich from free market capitalism donating his salary to a radical Marxism group is both hilarious and sad.

If you linking slam magazine, you have made my point for me. That is the best you could find. Bc if you had found anything else you would have linked it.

Game over bro.

Confirmed you aren’t shite irl and this is all an act. If you had any real level of professional success in business or finance you would understand the difference.

Doesn't that work against your argument if almost all the NBA players are wearing these shirts and by default supporting the organization but only one has vocally said they are donating anything from their salary.

I could understand if the argument was they support the movement but are not doing a good enough job separating themselves from the organization but that doesn't seem to be what most people are upset about.

I assume it's like a subsidiary or a branch. They've given themselves the same name and added their country. That's usually how these things work.

They don't have anything outside of North America listed, but I'm pretty sure they have chapters all over the world.

I personally don't think a lot of people have a clue what that group actually stands for. They hear those three words and think "I can get on board with that". This is exactly what they wanted to happen. Not enough people have done their research into this group.

the black lives matter movement started before the black lives matter org was founded. the org was trying to capitalize off the movement, not the other way around
