This is stupid. We don’t need to pretend Rahm hasn’t been offered and pursued heavily before and we don’t need to pretend the reason he turned it down was due to legacy and actual competitive culture of the two tours. He has told you that. LIv has told you they wanted him.

No Laying Up posted that he is signing for $100 million more than the entire 2023 PGA prize fund. I know some of that is in “team equity” but it shows how ridiculous that offer is. 2023 was the highest prize fund in PGA history by a substantial amount.

Since Tiger joined the PGA board and the players have the majority decision, getting LIV and the PGA together seemed like a long shot, at best. Other investors want in and with Rahm being so actively recruited that may be the final answer about the merger.

I'm not sure what the better job profession is, playing golf at all the top venues and having a hot wife/girlfriend or racing cars driving as fast as you want and having a hot wife/girlfriend.
