Apparently the LA Tech Report Twitter account is going off right now bitching and moaning that SOUTHERN MISS’s selfishness and betrayal has destroyed 50 years of progress by LA Tech to separate from the Cajuns and ULM. Oh my.
And blocking anyone who dares respond with an opposing view.

THAT is why despite having LA Tech in a conference with Louisiana, Arky State, Southern Miss and South AL would be fun football and baseball matchups, such a scenario will NEVER play out.

It’s a fact that they should have used the ins money and fan support to rebuild what was lost. Not suck on the fed tit to build stuff your fan base never could’ve afforded.
And all coming from a city/region/fan base that is constantly bemoaning the ‘deep state’ big-spending ‘libtards’ that are ‘ruining’ this country. Yeah, you cannot get any more hypocritical than that.

Im sure if your school underwent a similar situation, and handled it the same way Tech did (Because, well, we are all under the UL system…), you’d be excited for the new facility. And if any of us were to point out how you behaved about Tech doing the same thing, you’d somehow make yourself the victim in your mind.

Yeah…I’m not going to go that route. I despise Tech and Pedo U more than anyone else and am currently enjoying the Karma here. But they did what any school, P5 or G5, would have done in trying to rebuild facilities to host games. McNeese is doing the same thing, or at least they should.
As for the “sucking on the Fed tit” comment, I’m sure their boosters who put up money for the destroyed facilities and contributed to the new ones are part of the about 48% of this country that actually pays federal income taxes.

How is that different from ULM’s administration? Pretty sure I’ve heard this story myself. It takes its toll and has consequences. So now it’s just that y’all are the ones reaping the consequences instead of us!
