Yes because James Harden is having the most overrated “MVP” season of all time.

That's an issue for you to take up with the voters who are going to give it to him again. And none of them post here.

The play your thread is about had absolutely no bearing on the game result. It was meaningless other than for your lulz. Which is absolutely fine, in retrospect. That's what this place is about. I know that. My first post was an irritated reaction to a pathetic effort by the entire team. That's on me.

But Hardens laziness and reliance on the step back all 2nd half, despite clanking them for 3 quarters, deserves scorn. Deserves mocking. And was most attributable to the loss. It was a pitiful "performance". Frankly, he should have been searching for fouls off the drive the entire 4th quarter instead of throwing up the lazy, bullshite shots he was.

Harden has kind of become a big joke because of his antics. I like the guy and he’s a great player, but he’s a walking punchline the way he tries to force foul calls.

He makes the D-Whistle days seem quaint.

I really don't like Harden, but he's been absolutely carrying the team for the last month. Obviously some of the foul calls he gets are absurd, and I wish he wouldn't flop like that, but it's the referees decision to make the call.

I'm still hopeful Giannis can get the MVP, but as of now, I have zero problem with Harden getting the award. He has been that good on most nights.

All that being said, someone needs to add the gif of this and your should add it to the OP because it's hilarious.

It's part of why the NBA is unwatchable. No rules or anything. Not sure why they even have refs, it's more like street ball.

The funny part is that none of these guys would act like such bitches if they were playing on a street in a pick-up game. They would get ridiculed and thrown off the court.

He should have thrown is head back more aggressively and flailed his arms if he wanted to get the foul called.

I love how you keep blaming harden for his laziness, giving no credit to Jrue and the Pelicans defense for shutting his arse down. Lazy step backs are caused by lack of confidence to attack the paint. The Pels constantly doubled harden down hard and forced him to shoot tough shots

I couldnt watch the second half bc I had to finalize some vacation plans but let’s jist say I am very very skeptical of this. hardwns step back is a shot that no one can defend. Or even contest. If it goes in it goes in. If it don’t it don’t. That’s why he keeps shooting them. Now if you double him and he gets the ball to his teammates and they miss shots well you are talking about a different scenario. If I was opposing coach that’s what I would do. Double. Make the opponents beat you. Bc hardwn is simply Unguradable.

The Pels doubled hard on harden all night long and filled the open passing lanes very well.

Tim Frazier changing teams in the last two minutes made this game way closer than it needed to be

I was very happy to see that the pels had pulled one out. That game meant a lot more to them than it meant to CC and I’m glad those guys could get a game there to make them feel good about themselves after all the recent news.
