I use that tactic too...when I lose an argument I bash grammar or use emoticons.

Your scrub arse didn't win an argument.

The fact is you'll be sitting at home rooting for another team to lose instead of cheering for your team to win. But next year though...

Ooof. To be fair, much of the video is off-ball, and you'd hope he doesn't play with such laziness in the playoffs.

He constantly grabs people on blow-bys without getting called. It's amazing. Rockets gonna get a rude awakening in the playoffs when it comes to officiating.

the fact is I checked out on the NBA as soon as I won TDBBL

I have no dog in this hunt.

But you are deflecting...you know The Rockets would benefit by him playing defense but are too rocketarded to admit it.

Meh. Harden shot more fts in the playoffs last season than he did in the regular season. Idk that the 'refs swallow their whistle in the postseason' statement is really true. Why don't you do some research on it?

It really blows my mind how little effort he gives on that end.

Because sometimes he actually tries, and he's not a terrible defender when he decides to give some effort.

But completely not even paying attention to your man and letting him get lay-ups is inexcusable. I mean... wtf? It doesn't even take much effort to not lose sight of your man.

And his favorite move on defense is to let the offensive player drive right past him and he'll take a swipe from behind to try to poke the ball out.

my point is...if he put in the effort on defense, it would likely result in a finals appearance if not a finals win.

Doubtful this year... the Rockets just don't have much of a bench.

Although that doesn't matter as much in the playoffs.

You're acting like the Rockets weren't in the playoffs last year.

The Rockets got MORE foul calls last year in the playoffs than in the regular season.

Not just the Rockets, but every team did.

It's a myth that the refs don't call as many fouls in the playoffs. They actually call more.

I'm not saying they are going to swallow their whistles. I'm saying that they won't get bailed out as much due to the exposure, and that the other team will get the same respect the Rockets do when it comes to the foul calls. Little things like those Harden grab fouls, and Howard getting away with murder when he's in foul trouble in the regular season simply won't fly.

It's pretty simple:

If Harden had given half a shite about defense OKC would have maxed him in a heartbeat.

OKC made one of the worst trades of all-time.

End of story.
