He made the kick, too. Then he missed it after the Ice.

I don't care how competitive you are, that's a bs move

He's rightly getting roasted today on sports radio

They should be ashamed to kick a fg down 56-0. That is worse than icing the kicker

If they don't stop playing the game why should you?

If you are kicking a fg down by 56, you have quit playing

I would like to see statistics, but is the opportunity to ice the kicker really that much of a competitive advantage? I've seen it backfire or have no effect far more times than I've seen it work.

A coach with morals lets a kicker down 56-0 make a field goal in happy valley so he can have a cool life experience and achievement he can tell his kids

Was this like beating Akron for them too?

Whatever. I'm an a-hole so if I saw a team trying to score a point down 56-0 I wouldn't let them do it

Should the losing team get trophies afterwards to show to their future kids too?

Or maybe he's worried about his own players and the shutout was important to them so he exercised reasonable means of preserving it.

James Franklin is a petty bitch... anyone who followed vandy while he was here can tell you that.

I'm sure a shutout of fricking Georgia State will keep that D motivated all year.

So you're on record stating they should have laid down and not tried to block it?

I bet the QB would have liked a TD too, should they have let him throw a TD pass?

I'd want the shutout for my kids too. Don't like it? Beat him then.

If this were Michigan and Harbaugh you'd be the first to defend it
